The issue with all of those others is that it's not a clear black / white. Smoking, drinking and now drug use is part of the Canadian lifestyle. Plus all the other stuff. I can live a strictly health-conscious, monastic lifestyle, but that's not normal and where do you draw the line?... Do you say anyone who doesn't permanently self-isolate, wear a HazMat suit and eat only health foods should be denied health care?... Because that's where you would end up.
Taking / not taking the vaxx is a clear, 1-dimensional choice. You either man up to your citizens' responsibilities or you dgaf. And in the latter case, you should be sanctioned.

And in that specific example, some people are going to shed weight easily, some only with difficulty and some will be medically unable to do it because body type, metabolism, etc. So you've already got complication.
