It's the idiotic narrative that risk is equally spread under the threat of Covid. NOTHING could be further from the truth. The vast majority of the population is less likely to die from COVID-19 than from a traffic mishap. Yet, curiously, we don't ban motor vehicles. We live and manage the risk. How about a proof of being negative BEFORE entering the long term care facility? Would that be impossible? How about mandating that ALL teachers above 50 be vaccinated AND tested? How about seniors only shopping hours at the supermarket? And many more tiny, meaningful steps that actually mean something and lead somewhere? Or we can be like Israel...and vaccinate everyone, again and again and again and again. And the virus will mutate and keep killing the old, the fatties and the immuno compromised.

Err, there already ARE seniors only shopping hours at Metros - since spring 2020.

Vaccine mandates and quarantine mandates were pretty common in all Western countries in the early 20th Century, when there were pandemics. Public health ordinances are there for a reason and have to be obeyed. You can't shit in a drinking water source or piss on the street. Why?..... Because it makes other people ill.

Yes, testing is important but it is very clear that vaccination reduces the chance of getting infected. More vaccinated people means fewer people who will be transmitting it; you know, the whole idea behind herd immunity.

Concerned yes but in case you missed it, fully vaccinated people make up a small percentage of cases.


83% of people over 12 make up 11% of ICU cases.

If we had age data for ICU cases, it would look even worse for unvaccinated as older people are well over 90% vaccinated.

Let's call it 10,000 people have died in Ontario from COVID 19 over 18 months. Normal deaths over that time period would be about 165,000. So we are talking around 6%, I suppose. But deaths from flu have fallen.

So COVID deaths are actually not exceptional. They are concentrated (READ MY LIPS: CONCENTRATED. That means, yes there are younger ones, but the large majority are in older people). So vaccinate the older ones, stop this madness for the rest of us.
