I know many people who are not vaccinated . I have stopped seeing them. They should be penalized and rights taken away. Regarding testing you can go to only to shoppers to get tested. It would be good if we can have home testing like many European countries.Without the testing requirements or at least guidelines, it's a symbolic move to quell a political problem.
Better late than never even if it's ridiculously lateGood move by Ford.
I treat vaccinated and unvaccinated exactly the same way because both are potentially a source of covid.I know many people who are not vaccinated . I have stopped seeing them. It is about not filling up the ICU and causing another lockdown but don't let that little nugget go over your head.I treat vaccinated and unvaccinated exactly the same way because both are potentially a source of covid.
You do you, I'll do me. One thing is for sure, a bi weekly mandatory covid testing would make me feel safer. A one time covid passport is bullshit. It is about not filling up the ICU and causing another lockdown but don't let that little nugget go over your head.
You go ahead then and get your nose jabbed twice a week and I hope you have to pay for it too. After all, you wouldn't want someone else to take on the responsibility of the cost because you want to be an outcast do you?You do you, I'll do me. Didn't you hear, we have free health care in Canada. Too bad Justin blew all the cash on the unemployed, instead of establishing the proper testing and tracing regime. All should be vaccinated, BTW.You go ahead then and get your nose jabbed twice a week and I hope you have to pay for it too. Unvaxxed should have their Ohip card stamped for special COVID treatment if walking into a hospital. Unvaxxed should be and will be paying higher insurance premiums. Trust me on this one. There are restrictions and penalties coming down the pike if numbers in the hospitals rise that will have you crying like a baby.Didn't you hear, we have free health care in Canada. +1, those who "do their own research" should build their own ventilatorsUnvaxxed should have their Ohip card stamped for special COVID treatment if walking into a hospital. in fairness Israel numbers do look like shit. This August was way worse than August 2020.So, what you're REALLY saying is that the vaccines are not the answer. You must be since we're on the way to 80% compliance and still in the crisis mode. Just like Israel...
Don't confuse me with anti vaxers. I'm all for vaccinations. But, what we are doing is not vaccinations. We should be offering vaccines to those at risk and move on. Jabbing the whole population every six months is not the answer nor is it sustainable.in fairness Israel numbers do look like shit. This August was way worse than August 2020.
What you don't understand is that everyone is at risk. You like playing Russian Roulette, you go ahead and be you!Don't confuse me with anti vaxers. I'm all for vaccinations. It's the idiotic narrative that risk is equally spread under the threat of Covid. NOTHING could be further from the truth. The vast majority of the population is less likely to die from COVID-19 than from a traffic mishap. Yet, curiously, we don't ban motor vehicles. We live and manage the risk. How about a proof of being negative BEFORE entering the long term care facility? Would that be impossible? How about mandating that ALL teachers above 50 be vaccinated AND tested? How about seniors only shopping hours at the supermarket? And many more tiny, meaningful steps that actually mean something and lead somewhere? Or we can be like Israel...and vaccinate everyone, again and again and again and again. And the virus will mutate and keep killing the old, the fatties and the immuno compromised. What you don't understand is that everyone is at risk. You like playing Russian Roulette, you go ahead and be you!
Seriously? Why is it not the answer?
Why is it not "sustainable?"
The rate of people who are vaccinated or plan to be vaccinated is increasing. And the cost is do-able because we have no alternative.Seriously?
It's not an answer because this virus mutates and spreads too quickly. It's not sustainable because of the cost and the waning cooperation of the population.
