“Cry Macho”
Wow 🙂
Thought he was was done after “The Mule”.
I loved that one, classic Clint.

Watching “Grand Torino” again tonight for the millionth time.
My dad’s last favourite movie before he passed, lol.
Why can’t we properly appreciate these guys before they’re gone :(

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. I don't think any movie had such stellar performances from three actors: Clint, Lee Van Cleef and especially Eli Wallach. One of my all-time favorite movies.

My Top 5 favorite Eastwood films:

1. The Good The Bad and The Ugly
2. The Outlaw Josie Wales
3. Unforgiven
4. Gran Torino
5. Tightrope

Tightrope is the film that made Clint a serious actor, you were never sure if he was a lawman or a serial killer, excellent support from Genevieve Bujold. Perhaps the creepiest film he's ever done, Richard Tuggle also directed Escape from Alcatraz. Correction Richard Tuggle wrote Escape from Alcatraz, He wrote and directed Tightrope.

Tightrope > Basic Instinct

I remember as a kid in the 70s going to theater and seeing a double bill of Dirty Harry and Magnum Force. Back to back Clint...pure heaven!
I think I was hyper for the rest of that day.
I even like Paint Your Wagon. It used to play lots on TV.
The Eiger Sanction is great too.
Another overlooked one is Where Eagles Dare..
Clint and Richard Burton in WW2! Nobody seems to talk about that one much.

no dirty Harry anyone? cmon now...
As a lifelong Clint fan, I enjoyed the Dirty Harry franchise but they were fairy tales. Tightrope was far grittier and darker than it's predecessor Sudden Impact, Clint wanted something more than the straight arrow Harry Callahan.

No supporting character in the Dirty Harry franchise could stand with Meathead!

Sudden Impact: since it's crucial to the film, the scene where Meathead stops Harry from walking into an ambush is not on YT.

Trivia: How many times did Clint play, "The Man with no Name".

Meathead was great, but I liked the orangutan in "Every Which Way But Loose"!
