My first CE movie was “High plains drifter”, He plays a pretty dark character in that film.
Wallach should have a best supporting actor Oscar for that role.I liked the Eli Wallach line in the Good the Bad and The Ugly where after dragging him across the desert to slowly kill him, he realizes Clint has the code to where the gold is buried and has to take him to a monastery to get him nursed back to health. At his bedside he says to Clint..."lucky I was there when it happened" lol.
I thought the same thing. Very happy that's not the case. When I saw the Post Title... no, Clint Eastwood passed away...
***GO AHEAD MAKE MY DAY***
God damn. And the woman sitting beside Hanks is stunning. Love her low cut dress.
Kinda depends how you define the character.Trivia: How many times did Clint play, "The Man with no Name".
Brilliant!!I thought the same thing. Very happy that's not the case.
Tom Hanks tells a hilarious story on the Graham Norton show of what it was like to work with Clint Eastwood. (And the woman sitting beside Hanks is stunning. Love her low cut dress.)
Or Play Misty for me, Kelly's Heroes..no dirty Harry anyone? cmon now...
No hate spewing in the general forum, take your bile to the political. I've always considered Dirty Harry to be Clint's weakest character, not much room for Clint to show his considerable acting skills. To think some of the Libtards called him a racist because some of the criminals in dirty Harry were Black.
Could never warm up to GenevieveMy Top 5 favorite Eastwood films:
1. The Good The Bad and The Ugly
2. The Outlaw Josie Wales
3. Unforgiven
4. Gran Torino
5. Tightrope
Tightrope is the film that made Clint a serious actor, you were never sure if he was a lawman or a serial killer, excellent support from Genevieve Bujold. Perhaps the creepiest film he's ever done, Richard Tuggle also directed Escape from Alcatraz. Correction Richard Tuggle wrote Escape from Alcatraz, He wrote and directed Tightrope.
Tightrope > Basic Instinct
