Suck it up and deal for the greater good? That another problem today - too many me, me, me, I, I, I people. I am fine with being mildly inconvenienced if it saves ~150+ lives a year and many hundreds of injuries. I would also like to see the costs to implement passed on to the offenders as higher licensing fees. The bad drivers should also bear a much higher percentage of insurance costs.
My 30+ year clean driving record should be rewarded by my paying next to nothing in premiums, yet I get fucked over like millions of others.
No. The problem is too many people willing to give up more and more of our freedoms, and our rights, in a ridiculous effort to conform to the lowest common denominator, and people like you making excuses for the practice. This is a practice that is used as a punishment for those convicted of the crime of Drinking and Driving. Now that punishment will be put on even the innocent in the name of "Greater Good", as determined by some special interest group.
Just like we gave up our right to needing reasonable cause to be bodily searched, when the law was passed that police could breathalyze anyone, at any time, for no reason at all. Like we are all already guilty of something.
Like we all gave up our rights to even have a drink, 2 hours after we park our car at home, because a law was passed that a cop can arrest you for DUI if you blow over the limit up to 2 hours after you have been out of your vehicle, and they don't need a warrant or reasonable cause to do so.
Or that the Government will be able to censor individuals internet content for what ever reason the Government likes, with the new bill that the Feds are ramming through. Further erroding our rights to freedom of expression.
But you just keep going on making excuses for the practice of eroding our rights and freedoms. Dictatorial governments just love people like you.
