Brentford is West London, fairly wealthy side. Far from drab like our Brantford, Ontario.
East and South is kind of the poorer parts of London.

Anyway soccer.
Predictions:
England over Croatia - both teams scoring - over 2.5 goals
Austria over Macedonia - under 2.5 goals
Netherlands over Ukraine - under 2.5 goals
Had England and Austria ML and Ukraine win or draw, damn goalie couldn't clear his lines.

Scotland vs Czech Republic - both teams to score
Poland vs Slovakia - both teams to score.

What I predict tomorrow.

Netherlands missed many, Ukrainians are not a bad team, so I'm not surprised they put a couple in.
For those who enjoy watching the America soccer cup is on its way too. Brazil is one up on Venezuela at 30'.
That group is weak. I'm a fan of Dutch football but don't think they will go far in this tournament. A much better team would have shredded that Dutch or Ukrainian defense. The winner of group A, looking like Italy, will meet the runner up of that group.

I have to admit that the Holland team has shown the best football so far in EURO 2020
I think that Belgium has so far produced the most solid football in the manner in which they crushed Russia. Even Eden Hazard was only a substitute and they are still missing De Bruyne. Russia like Turkey hardly had a sniff at goal. England were also a team that looked like potential contenders have managing a 1-0 win over a very strong Croatian team. Yet Croatia also did not really test the England defence and goal keeper throughout the match.

England always start off matches with a strong high tempo style but then have a tendency to fade out and allow the other team to take control in the second half. Today almost looked like it was following the same pattern except they were able to find their second wind and grab a second half winner which is becoming common in the Southgate era.

Kalvin Phillips put in a tremendous performance and looks like he just increased his market value increase significantly. Henderson was rightly benched for stealing the penalty kick off Calvert Lewin vs Austria then missing it. Jude Bellingham is also looking like a natural in the in the middle of the park.

One thing that might help England keep up their high intensity style this tournament in the summer heat is their strength in depth and 5 substitution rule. Sancho and Chillwell didn’t even make the substitutes bench, Grealish couldn’t even get on the pitch despite being England’s best player in the 2 warm up matches.

Will be interesting to see when Maguire is fit if Southgate breaks up the Stones / Mings partnership if they continue to produce clean sheets.

Maybe I've been watching too much football, can't muster any interest in the Copa America.

I know she's part of TSN's broadcast crew, where is she?

Neymar scores from the spot. Brazil are 2-0 up.
They end up winning 3-0. Tomorrow Argentina Chile tomorrow. Colombia Equador on now.

Somehow I don't feel Brazil has the same type of teams of years ago like rivelino or ronaldo.

Considering the agita I'll probably be dealing with as the tournament progresses, this makes me so happy.

On Sportsnet now!

What's been proven so far? Nations with despotic governments are taking balls to the chin. Russia has it particularly difficult, the Finns will give no quarter. On paper Turkey has it easier, depending on if they have any pride in the strips they wear. The Welsh will be going for full points in the hope that Italy fucks up.

Putin and Erdogan need an easier way to slap meat.

Just started watching, the Warrior Scots are down 0-1 to the Czechs.

This was going to be tough match for them. The Czech are fighting to win back their dignity after getting shelled by the Azzurri in their last friendly. Patrick Shick netted the goal. He played great for Sampdoria but bombed at Roma, he currently plays for Beyer Leverkusen.
