I don't know who Mathias Jensen is, my mistake. His bio says he plays for Brantford, a drab town where Tim's makes most of it's tasteless baked goods. Not exactly Genoa is it.

He's 4.5 years older than Il Ragazzino, he's more experienced.

Brentford is West London, fairly wealthy side. Far from drab like our Brantford, Ontario.
East and South is kind of the poorer parts of London.

Anyway soccer.
Predictions:
England over Croatia - both teams scoring - over 2.5 goals
Austria over Macedonia - under 2.5 goals
Netherlands over Ukraine - under 2.5 goals

Brentford recently advanced to the EPL. Not too shabby.

EPL clubs can compete with Series A clubs.

Ann Elk is from Brentford.

From Google Maps, it's near Wimbledon and Twickenham, that's cool.

Social medicine at it's finest. Eriksen's life for the rest of the year is going to be a pain in the ass. He's going to be the ward of both Cardiologists and Neurologists. A Cardiac Arrest is devastating but it doesn't damage the heart in the same way a heart attack does. He'll be going through a battery of tests to determine the cause. My hunch is a concussion, an item not taken very seriously in football. Lukaku was praying for him after the match with Russia.

concussion can trigger cardiac arrest?

It must be very scary to return on the pitch at such high level. I think all who had heart problems decided to retire no?

I cannot imagine anyone wants him to play after this. I hope he has good insurance.

just learned that many European countries, like Italy, have laws preventing professional athletes from playing if they have known cardiac problem. I think he will follow the advice off cardiologist and retire. He is still young and can do so many things.

I once witnessed a men having a cardiac arrest on a beach. Many surfers had CPR training and tried to resuscitate him for a good 25 min before ambulance arrived (took forever!) He did not make it. That shook me terribly. I was the one who ask other adults to shield him so kids on the beach did not saw. Yesterday i did cried when i saw that. It reminded me so much of that men on that beach...

Life is short... I think i will see a girl tomorrow 🤔

Yes, the frontal lobe controls breathing, all other motor functions are controlled by the cerebellum. Was watching the England vs Croatia match, an English player took a butt to back of the head. I believe it was Bellinger, I would have substituted him pronto, he went back into the match - crazy stupid. The cerebellum is located behind the spine where it meets the skull.

Gareth Southgate is a great manager, I've never seen England so organized. Due to TLN's expanded Serie A schedule, I don't follow the EPL. I only knew Kane, Sterling and Nasty Pickford. Mason Mount and Kalvin Phillips were outstanding in midfield, they know how to play the transition game well. With English emphasis on fitness, if they continue to play sound tactical football they will be dangerous.

In other news, I'm with Venom...I'd be happy to eat Kate Ovens.

TSN sucks, UEFA should at least sell the rights of the Euro to a competent streaming service and not one that just offers them the most money

Anyone else keep getting an error trying to watch the Netherlands match on the TSN app?
The Dutch nearly pulled a Bocellismo, were saved by the player who looks like Ruud Gullit, outstanding cross. The Ukranians are coached by The Great Sheva.

Whom are you referring to jalimon de Vrij played?

What a game! There is some talent on that Netherland team. And their best player is not even at the Euro.
Netherlands are my team, they got quality. But they are a tier under the top teams.
I'd be over the moon if they go all the way but realistic I'd cap them as semi-finalist.

Alot of people got the same error as me apparently because of the high traffic, TSN were hanging up on people calling to complain but they fixed it in the second half. Not a good sign for the rest of the tournament when the matches become even more popular. One thing I wasnt expecting when I signed up for the Euros was access to the copa America but I have the Brazil game on right now.

It should have been an easier win for the Dutch at 2-0 but they showed their defensive fragility without Van Dijk.

Netherlands missed many, Ukrainians are not a bad team, so I'm not surprised they put a couple in.
For those who enjoy watching the America soccer cup is on its way too. Brazil is one up on Venezuela at 30'.
