This is a case that, within a day of the deaths, the police determined that the motivation for the attack was racism. The only way the police could come to that conclusion so quickly (because police are just not that good or efficient) is if the accused volunteered a clear statement confirming his intentions. If that is the case, why did the police refuse to release any details of any statement made by the accused, or even describe in general terms why they came to their conclusion, and what is the purpose of the rest of their ongoing investigation?

Also, it has been reported that the accused was wearing some sort of bullet proof vest when he was arrested. Why? Was he also armed when he was arrested? No report of it. If he was armed, why run down his victim (risking a crash) instead of using a weapon? There was no report of any resistance or stand off at his arrest. Sociopaths who plan to make some sort of "stand" generally do exactly that. They seek the attention, especially if they are trying to make some ideological point. This guy, apparently, just saw his victims on the sidewalk, made the instantaneous decision to run them down, and then fled the scene, only to be arrested without incident in some store parking lot a couple of blocks away. In summary, he didn't flee very far or try to hide himself effectively, and he didn't set up some kind of stand off with the police. None of this makes any sense to me.
Dutch.... He knew more law than the 80+ judges who dismissed Trump's election lawsuits.

He knew more evidence about the Chauvin case than the jury members who listened to that evidence for 2 weeks.

He knows more about police procedure and criminal detection than the London PD Homicide Squad.

Wasn't the point of my posts on that thread, but you aren't one for getting the point of anything.

And your point, as always, is skewed. You're forgetting about what the dissenting judges said in a number of the cases at the appellate levels.

Please feel free to cite my posts from that thread where I offered my own review of the law. I'll wait.

Not a very lofty claim, since I saw all the same evidence they did, and they, for the most part, were people with no prior experience in weighing and evaluating evidence, and more importantly, no experience or aptitude in applying subtle legal distinctions to the evidence they heard. Quite a number of them were just morons. A certain number of them were intimidated by the violent reaction they could expect in their community to any lesser verdict than the one they came to.

I guess everything I said about this case so far must be right, since you're not taking specific issue with any of it. I know you would if you could.

You're certainly not offering any answers to the questions I raised.

You'd make a fine political flack.

Wow, I would have thought DO would have toned down his statements instead of upping them.
0/65 or so and he's still claiming he's smarter than all of them.
Amazing.

Not as happy as you apparently are.
I am not happy about this act of hatred and terror, nor do I spend my time posting anti- Muslim threads on Terb ( which help inspire such horrendous acts)..

It wasn't Dutch who failed..... It was the System!
No, no, no,
I can't believe that after all this time you'd make such a basic mistake.

It wasn't a failure of the legal system, it was that the conman didn't get Dutch Oven to represent him in court.
His sharp legal mind would have destroyed the opposition 61 times in a row.
Only DO could have handled the job.

Rather inflated opinion of Terb's influence. I'd bet reddit or 4 and 8 Chan are more where this loser spent time online.

Maybe other social media platforms as well

Sure, but reddit or 8 chan are full of people looking for echo chambers, not debate.

Supposedly the cops jumped to false conclusions and the guy had problems steering his car. He also had air soft gear on. The laughing could have been nervous

be a huge embarrassment for the police and Justin who went out of his way to attend if it was mechanical failure on the truck and has nothing to do with terrorism/hate
well an airsoft vest is as bullet resistant as your tee shirt if it was airsoft it was probably a knock off molle load bearing vest to carry gear

So what are you saying? It was a random accident?

I've already said what I'm saying. To simplify it for you, I'd like to know what information the police have relied upon to conclude that this was a premeditated, recially based act of terror instead of an ordinary homicide (murder or manslaughter), since that conclusion has got the entire country up in arms. Whatever that information is, they have yet to disclose it. They have yet to even describe it in general terms (statements of the accused, witnesses, etc.). I'm a strong supporter of the police, but their strength does not lie in applying difficult legal concepts (they are more brave than smart), and they are too often subjected to political pressure in their charging practices.

What obligation are police under to tell you anything?

Are you saying this was some random accident? Yes or no?
