If you are subscribed to Disney +, they will demand that you pay an extra $30.00 for the extreme pleasure of watching Cruella, enjoy.

Disney has to do a better job of promoting Shang Chi, Sony is kicking their ass....I'm happy to eat Mrs. Chen.

The Favorite may look like a woke film, it's a black comedy.

Winston Churchill wrote the story about his Great.....grandmother Lady Sarah, The Duchess of Marlborough (Rachel Weisz) and the rising conflict with Abigail Hill (Emma Stone) who attempting to get back her status as a Baroness. The Hill family were stripped of their holdings backing James II during The Glorious Revolution. Lady Hill is attempting to become the favorite of the sickly Queen Anne (Olivia Coleman). The film is set in the backdrop of The War of the Spanish Succession. It's worth the time.

Emma Stone seems to alternate between great and crap projects.

No Time to Die will be my first foray back to the cinema. So glad they refused to go the straight to streaming route.

What a way to celebrate

The 007 films are now owned by Jeff Bezos who bought MGM. The decision was partly made for him by the mutiny at Warner Media. WB merged with ATT, with all their films going straight to HBO Max - WB ended up losing $1.4 billion. Warner Media cut ties with ATT with ATT's designated CEO John Stankey getting dropped by WB. WB released Kong vs Zilla in theaters, so far the film has made $436 million globally. Bezos is smart, streaming services aren't exactly the money spinners Netflix made them out to be.

Part of No Time to Die is filmed in Matera, an ancient Unesco World Heritage site entirely built of stone.

The next big merger could be decided after Venom eats Mrs. Chen. CBS All-Access is in a race with Apple+ to see who can lose the most money on their streaming services.

So does this mean that Amazon will be streaming Bond earlier instead of a cinematic release now that Bezos own MGM?

WTF. Why f**k with a proven formula - leave it in theatres where it belongs. Does everything have to be about online?

There's too much money to be made from theater runs for the production companies to give up. Warner Media gave ATT the big fangu after Wonder Woman 1984 went straight to HBO Max, they took a $200 million bath on it. Kong vs Zilla, even released in limited seating turned a profit of $140 million. Even in limited seating A Quiet Place II made $48 million for Paramount.

Theaters stand a good chance of surviving, cable TV wont. I'm about to drive a hard bargain with Rogers, their bundles are too expensive and Ignite is a cash grab. I can easily load up on more streaming series if I get rid of cable.

Time to drop 16 tonnes on the Canadian Tire guy..

Nicholas Hoult (MM:Fury Road) wants to have Emma Stone stripped and whipped. I would whip her too - but not with a lash.

Yeah, but an hour after Venom eats Mrs. Chen, will he be hungry again?
Venom: Let there be Carnage, is Andy Serkis's first independent production and his third film as director. Which begs the question, did his son Louis Serkis also eat a tasty dish?

Louis Serkis was also James Delaney's son in Taboo.

Netflix went to great length to make The Queen's Gambit as authentic as possible. Even Putin dissenter and former Grandmaster Garri Kasparov was involved. Kasparov was born in Baku Azerbaijan, founder of the Democracy Initiative along with his colleagues Yevgenia Chirikova and Alexei Navalny. He's been living in NYC since 2013.

Current Grandmaster Magnus Carlsen analyzed the games. There are six in total.

I'm geeking out! Is The Queen's Gambit loosely based on Magnus Carlsen?

Serious answer. Venom seems always hungry.
Not so serious answer. Oh noes I'll have to eat another one every hour. I fail to see the downside of this.

So the parameters have been set.

The streaming services make their money from series but are dependent on the production companies to create content. The later needs theaters to stay solvent with films. The streaming services figured they could get away with it due to the success of Liberty Village's Take5 Productions. They have yet to make a film, concentrating on TV Series instead: among their hits, The Handmaid's Tale, Vikings, The Borgias and Black Mirror. Christopher Nolan used his power to get Tenet released into theaters - the film was so/so. John David Washington was solid and I enjoyed Aaron Taylor Johnson's spoof of Tom Hardy but I couldn't figure why Sissy Vampire was in it.

The Great Shat, Christopher Walken > Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley...A Senior Moment and Percy are kicking the crap out of Chaos Walking, with Holland and Ridley, on VOD. Unlike Cruella Crave is not charging $30 to watch them. This is a problem Ms Ridley hasn't broken free of Star Wars. John Boyega has already established himself with Attack the Block, 24-Live another day and Detroit.

Ridley may have played a Jedi Messiah but Christopher Walken is still a God.

They're hereeeee!

I've been waiting for the trailer to Edgar Wright's (Shaun of the Dead, Baby Driver) latest which does look like a female version of A Faust Tale. La Fenomea makes an extremely sexy Mephistopheles. Looking forward to anything she does after The Queen's Gambit.

Anya Taylor Joy sings Downtown.

The Edgar Wright film comes out after Venom 2 and before No Time to Die. After he's finished snacking on Mrs. Chen will Venom eat Anya Taylor Joy? That is a very tasty dish.

Streaming services have done well, but there are certain moments of network tv that will remain immortal.

This is untouchable!
