The Leafs look like they don't have any gas left in the tank. Montreal is killing them with all the hits and it's wearing the Leafs down, It's will over skill in the playoffs.

A few musings after watching tonight's game;
1. Has the between period intermission shows ever been this bad?
2. Somebody should have told Mathews not to take a vacation in May.
3. Price is a really good goalie.
4. The Leafs are a fairly good regular season team but a really shitty playoff team.
5. Could the Leafs actually lose game 7?
6. Answer to above is yes and we have seen this how many times before but difference was that before they lost to much better teams.
7. Lastly, what a huge difference when the refs put the whistles in their pockets, Marner and Nylander become below average players. But Brad Marchand who is also small becomes 3 times better. But Marner really tries which makes it sadder.

Embarrassing when the only 2 goals credited to your team were scored by the other teams defenceman. Thank you Jeff Petry for helping us avoid a shutout.

Move Spezza up with Nylander and Galchenyk. Leafs has last change for game 7. Double shift Matthews time between the first and second line.

Try all they want, they have no heart, no determination, no energy. The Habs have nothing to lose, the Leafs have all the pressure in the world right now and this core will fold as usual. Marner lost all confidence and is playing like a spazz. Keefe is now getting outcoached. The Leafs are 0-7 in closeout games in the Matthews era. Habs win game 7 guaranteed and I will put my money on it.

The Chicago Cubs went 71 years without getting to the WS.

When he took over as Leafs President, Brendan Shanahan was asked to do the impossible: be a skilled surgeon and remove three tumors from the club's psyche (Ballard, Stavro, Peddie). With so many decades of having failure drilled into them, it's hard to turn that around.

Habs in 7, mainly due to Price.

Actually, the Habs are showing more skill on top of everything else.
More creative and fluid, much better scoring chances.
I think Ducharme is winning the battle of the coaches, he's got that team in sync, constant pressure on the Leafs.

It is heartbreaking as the Leafs came back 3-0 and 2-0 the last 2 games. Went to OT and lost. Not sure if they have it mentally to win a game 7 now. We shall see tomorrow.

Its quite a scare but the Leafs will win game 7. The Habs won the last 2 in OT on defence giveaways. They won’t be able to do that 3 times in a row. And they don’t score much.

Even tho i’m a Habs fan next game i’m betting a 4 - 1 win for TO.

I've never seen him so stymied, he's had some good looks but missing.
I think Price is in his head, has to be too precise to beat him,
some guys are passing up good shots to pass for the perfect opportunity.

I'm concerned.
The Leafs came out so flat in the last two games, the Habs were on the ropes but the Leafs came out
playing tentative and not to lose. They should have come out guns a-blazing.
The momentum is totally in Montreal's favour.
Tomorrow's game is a real crossroads for this organization, there are no more excuses.
