I wonder if Foligno would play on Saturday? If he does, I would love to see him play with Mathews and Marner again cause this is the line needs perform the most. I have not seen effective result from this line. Leafs needs Foligno badly. Let's stop talking about Nylander and help the Leafs win the Saturday game!

Go Leafs Go!!!

I don't even know what his injury is. What's wrong with him?

So who's in for Galchenyuk next game in Montreal?

Nice pass by Caufield though. No one expected that.
We saw why Galchenyuk is on his fith team in 2 years... We saw it for a few years in Montreal. He plays a few good games, a few invisible one and makes many gaffe...

Foligno's absence for Game 5 will be his third straight game out of the lineup after suffering an undisclosed lower-body injury in Game 2. The 33-year-old has been considered day-to-day ever since.

Grit, grit, grit!!!

If he plays within his limitations he's fine, applying pressure, chasing down pucks, going to the net, low risk puck movement.
I don't understand why they took Dermott out, he played well Tuesday, he's a little nasty. Sandin's physicality is still an issue, struggles with guys in front of the net, gets bumped off the puck too easily.

I don't think anyone would give up a Tkachuk brother for Nylander.
Maybe not one for one, but what if one of the Leafs’ blue chip prospects (Sandin/Robertson/Amirov) is included in the deal ?

The only thing that concerns me with Tom Wilson is the high mileage on him. He has given out a lot but has also absorbed a lot of punishments. His decline may come much too sooner. The Tkachuk brothers are younger and fresher and will compliment Matthews and Marner nicely.
The guys I named are nhl prospects, not AHL PROSPECTS.
You still think throwing in Sandin sweetens the deal...you can call him what you want but he was worse player on the ice in game 5...

When Sandin was playing well in earlier games and scored a big pp goal, you seemed amazed and made a post asking something to the effect of like where this guy came from. You quickly deleted that post when you remembered he’s a guy you labeled an AHL player.

Now that he has played one bad game and you start your bullshit again? Did you think nobody caught your other post ?

It’s post #1464...Ottawa is not going to trade their best player for Nylander and whatever you’re calling Sandin.

Don’t lie ! You made the post I referenced after this series started. You deleted it and you knew it.

When I caught it I let you off the by not reminding you of your inability to distinguish the difference between AHL and NHL prospects. I know I made you look stupid before but now taking advantage of one bad game by a guy player to seek revenge is really pathetic.

Tuesday night (May 25, 2021, for those keeping track), postgame:

Jason Spezza: "Nylander is more vocal on the bench, in addition to being a leader on the ice."
Jason Spezza: "You can tell he's really taken a leadership role with John down. He’s stepped up."
Sheldon Keefe "Nylander's self-confidence has now extended to a confidence within the team structure."
as wayne campbell said in Waynes World, i think i,m gonna hurlo_O.

Not to bright are you, I just told you where the post is, I didn't delete it...it's post #1464...you wanting to call Sandin an NHL prospect instead of an AHL prospect is who fucking cares, we were talking about the same player...you were just deflecting because of the stupid trade idea you had.

Ok you didn’t delete it and I take back what I said about you deleting it; I do appreciate you finding it to prove your own hypocrisy and stupidity.

Foligno was probably not 100% healthy when he was traded to Toronto. He eluded to it when he was injured while playing for the Leafs on an innocuous play no less. Even when or if he comes back he'll unlikely be 100%.

Again you are deflecting from your own dumb thoughts...Brady Tkachuk for Nylander and Sandin is a stupid trade for Ottawa, but instead of defending that you play a word game thinking that anybody cares that you say Sandin is an NHL prospect and I say he's an AHL prospect...I heard that's why the deal didn't work, Dubas and the Senators couldn't agree on what to call Sandin.

Also, Sandin was looking good...but not that good to package him up for Ottawa's best player.

The one who’s trying to deflect is you. Your opinion (that it was a stupid trade idea) is like an asshole that everyone has one and nobody really cares what you think. Fact remains, you didn’t know the differences between AHL player, AHL prospect, and nhl prospect. How good a player Sandin will be remains to be determined. He played one bad game and you threw him under the bus to spill your nonsense to save face.

I made the mistake of saying you deleted a post but I’m man enough to admit it, unlike you, trying to deny and defect when your ignorance is exposed.

I’ve never seen a guy get this upset on what to call a player ...AHL prospect or NHL prospect...again, we were talking about the same player...you can call him one or the other, no one cares.

I’ve never seen a guy wanting so much the world to know that his opinions are so much more valuable and that how much knowledgeable he is about hockey when he doesn’t even know what the AHL is for or what an nhl prospect is. You‘re not really worthy for me to get upset with. I just have to straighten you out because you kept hopping back to the same topic for more embarrassment. Your attitude is the problem.

You’re getting weaker and weaker.... Learn your lesson, don’t provoke by telling others that their opinions are stupid because they’re different.

I have no clue what is going on in the Sandin argument above. And I have nothing against Nylander.

That being said if Dubas calls up Ottawa today and offers Nylander + Sandin for Tkachuk, Dorion hangs up the phone instantly. Tkachuk is the heart and soul of Ottawa and is the leader they want to build around and is by a fair margin the most valued asset of the 3. That being said if Tkachuk balks at Ottawa making a cheap contract offer and asks to move then there is a foundation for a deal but Toronto would need to offer a bit more.

The Sens paid/overpaid Chabot and they will get Tkachuk. They don’t have many contractual obligations so it is not a problem yet. What will be interesting is the next wave of talent in a few years if the Sems will be willing to spend cap.
