Is there a lot of 3 on 3 overtime in the NHL Playoffs?
I won't be so confident, sure the Leafs 5 on 5 play is strong, the Habs have last line change and they plan to put Caulfield out against the Leafs bottom 6 forwards, on the PP (cause the Habs are getting calls their way after Leafs got 6 PPs last game). Leafs better not take penalties or their PK has to be good. And the problem with taking too many penalties is that Matthews doesn't get the ice time he needs.

Caufield is Leaf killer?
Caufield vs Matthews?
Like Mila Azul I know you get overly excited but could you please stop with the hyperboles.
Nick Robertson is Leafs version of Caufield and he can't make the line-up.

Leafs have to stay out of the box or their PK has to be sharp (bet you Habs are getting more PPs tonight). Getting the first goal of the game would be nice. Get guys on front Price and get shots through and hunt for rebounds. Those are the Leafs key to winning game 3.

To be fair it is the media that is making Caufield out to be a hero or bigger than he is not the Habs organization.

They are simply viewing him as a depth player at this point that moves in and out of the lineup.

Montreal’s way of playing physical is cross checking and high sticking. They didn’t really throw that many big hits. All calls were blatant infractions and it could have been even more lopsided. If they still play the same undisciplined style and the Leafs‘ pps continue to produce, it could be a short series here on in. The Leafs have to start with the same kind of intensity as last game and don’t take bad penalties.

Stop the schoolgirl bickering.

I don't like back-to-back games the advantage may be with the Habs. The Leafs have to continue playing Jacques Lamaire hockey.

The other series was a piece of cake, the Jets are balanced and the Oilers don't like taking hits - easy money. Connor McJesus can start his summer vacation.

I knew the Oilers were ground chuck after Darnel Nurse took exception to a Rasmus Sandin type hit from Zack McEwen.

I can't find it so I'll describe it. Darnell Nurse went for an open ice hit on Zack McEwen. McEwen saw him coming and leaned in with his upper body, Nurse bounced off him and hit his chin on the ice. Just when I thought the Chris Smellios defensive hit was a thing of the past, it draws me back in.

Poetry in motion it iz.

That may be the case but from what I've seen of him in these games he's a real threat out there.
Every shift he seems to do something dangerous, he knows how to get open for a good pass,
his shots are not missing by much, hit the crossbar last night, this kid is a real player.

I wouldn't call what Leafs are doing Jacques Lamaire style. This is the way Leafs have always wanted to play. A very controlled game. We're not talking about a trap team that waits for neutral zone turnovers for their offense. Leafs play to minimize turnovers and odd man rushes against and emphasis on puck possession. Gain offensive zone and make plays. Leafs play smart. If they can't skate their way through the neutral zone they'll pass to an offensive player to deflect it in. Game 1 they lost because Thornton made 2 turnovers for goals against.
