Try Latin. I took it for a few years in high school, and by far it sticks to its' rules much more faithfully than any other language I know. Much fewer exceptions to the rules than French.

Not for an anglophone.
All the accents add complexity.
The conjugation of verb tenses seem endless.
And, most of all, the notion of objects being either masculine or feminine is really hard for a non-Francophone to grasp.
