The stupid one here is you. Over 80% of ICU hospitalizations are comprised of obese people.

Dont let inconvenient facts get in the way of your irrational fear. Clearly those who dont take care of themselves and keep in shape are selfish and putting an unnecessary burden on the primitive health care system here.

Funny part is, there’s more ICU beds than patients yet MSM and the govt are in bed with each other crying we are swamped.

Lets see, contrary opinions to MSM are silenced, our federal health minister says vitamin D isnt important (proven factually inaccurate and is quite frankly a flat out lie), ineffective and harmful lockdowns are proven yet the MSM refuse to cover protests. Sounds an awful lot like communism and someone with a lot to hide.

Large swaths of Canadians are a disgrace to common sense and the ability to critically think.

Ding ding ding dingaling we have an Amigo!

So do you drink alcohol, smoke, do any weed maybe?

Do you drive over the speed limit or have a waistline of 36 or more?

You are positive you're going to kick Covid to the curb if you catch it based on your superior fitness level but what about the folks around you? Guess all your family and friends are genetic specimens like yourself?

2 pathetic fools blaming the parents of a 13-year-old and attributing her death on just being overweight and not COVID.
It's called child abuse. I hope you're treating your own children better. Good health in their formative years pays dividends later on.

Her mother is obese as well, and is currently in the hospital.

And all you obese pooners on TERB and there are a lot of you, need to heed this story and stay the fuck home.
According to squeezer, that makes her a family of covidiot rednecks.

She was 13. Hard to say she had some condition that COVID would have helped along.
It's not hard to say at all. She was morbidly obese which is a condition that a 13 year old child should never be in.

She was 13 going on 50 years old thanks to her parents.

And do you feel that a 13 year old would die of these problems right now? If covid was not around?
This young lady passed and that is the point.

As unfortunate as it sounds her obesity most likely played a role in a suppressed immune system which left her unable to fight off this virus.

I can't imagine the pain her family is going through at present.

I was not thinking of weight when I said that. I was thinking things like heart and lung disease.

But as I said, they would say if there was something and they did. At the time, they had not.

You should look those stats up... afaik it is less than 6% increase of complications. This girl would have lived a realtively long life if she had not gotten Covid. Facts.
The CDC just released a study that said 78 % of the people who have died in the U.S. were obese.

This is recent up to date data.

Being obese is a contributing factor. The problem is 40% OF Americans are clinically obese. That's staggering.

And don't get me wrong. I'm not attaching blame here. The whole food industry is stacked against us.

They've been lying to us for generations. The sugar lobby being the main culprits.

The whole diet industry is pretty much a scam. The energy balance theory or calories in equals calories out dogma is false and has never worked long term. There's always a metabolic compensation to calorically reduced diets which leads to failure and resultant long term weight gain after the diet is terminated.

Had no pictures been made available we would all have assumed the 13 year old was a typical lean healthy kid. We forget that those days are behind us... all kinds of conditions are on the rise in very young children due to poor diet given to them by their parents.

I see, so this has nothing to do with COVID but poor lifestyle choices? Thankfully the 2 of you are superior physical genetic freaks so COVID is just a pffft, cold if you catch it.

Oracle, just based on your dogma statement tells me you're out to lunch when it comes to fitness as well. Yes, of course eating good food is a great way to getting all your minerals and vitamins but in the end, it is always calories in calories out to maintaining, gaining or losing weight but hey, if once again science and biology mean nothing, make up your own shit. Hey, hint, sarms or testosterone shots can help! LMAO

Ps....why the hell would the army be engaged if there are no ICU issues? Somebody is lying to us sheeple??? DAMMIT, Ford is losing his mind eh???

This has nothing to do with superiority... trying to eat healthy is paramount regardless of your genetics. It reduces risks for certain conditions.

Why are you disregarding parental responsibility in providing her with a healthy diet?

Why are you disregarding the dangers of contracting Covid?

You did not claim it was the cause of her death, Mr. "Know" it all did. Did it contribute maybe like .00000003 %, sure but Covid contributed 100%.

You literally have no idea her, or anyone elses, medical history.

This has nothing to do with superiority... trying to eat healthy is paramount regardless of your genetics. It reduces risks for certain conditions.

Why are you disregarding parental responsibility in providing her with a healthy diet?

She died of COVID and her weight didn’t help her chances. I agree with that. But she still did die of COVID. No COVID. No death right now.

And I get you are on a parent kick but I’m not going to engage in that debate if you don’t mind.

Thanks.

So while everyone debates the effects of Covid has on obese people there is another factor for the high rate of Covid in Brampton.
A lot of homes are built very close together and there are many multi generational families living in those homes. This is due to many immigrants pooling their money for shelter. The grandparents stay at home and go grocery shopping. The kids go to school and the kids parents go to work at the many warehouses and trucking firms in Brampton.
Now just imagine the number of people that house hold comes in contact with over the course of the week. Don't forget to include talking to neighbours, friends, places of worship.
Think about that.
Now think about how many people you come into contact with over the course of the week.
