Her pre-existing condition was that she was alive. As a result of catching the COVID19 - she is now dead.

And all you obese pooners on TERB and there are a lot of you, need to heed this story and stay the fuck home.
I think for a lot of us we look for controllable factors to alleviate our fears of death. If I hear someone died of lung cancer I will then ask "Were they a smoker?". I'm interested(selfishly) in finding a reason or behaviour that I can control which will help lessen my chances of death.
Was this girl too heavy? Yes
Did her parents contribute to her being overweight? Likely. They're probably overwhelmed trying to pay the bills and raise 2 kids
Who knows though...maybe she has put on a lot of weight in the last year by being kept inside and not going to school during what is arguably the most awkward phase of anyone's life. This girl didn't get the chance to outgrow that phase. This is a girl born in 2007/2008 ffs. I can read all the news of the world and not skip a beat but humanize a death with a photo like that. Man

Unfortunately as I have said multiple times on here clinically obese persons with metabolic syndrome are at an extremely high risk. They are immunosuppressed.
Perhaps they should be given priority to treatments. Of course that will lead to much consternation from other groups who feel they should be first in line.
