Wow you really can't read can you
From your own link:

In 2018, City Council lifted the moratorium on the creation of new Community Safety Zones

A moratorium refers to the fact they had temporarily placed a hold on creation of NEW Community Safety Zones (emphasis of the word NEW here)
There were literally hundreds (thousands?) of them created BEFORE 2018

Omg you are an idiot
You have now linked to an AMENDMENT (amendment is a CHANGE) under the most recent law (bill)

Bill 26 was introduced back in 1998 (as I said years / decade ago)

Just google it and stop posting foolishness in this thread ok

You have posted 3 links so far, each keeps going further back in time
Just go to the ORIGINAL and stop wasting time

I will also point out City of Toronto even had an earlier bylaw before the HTA was amended

But yeah as you posted you "never heard" any of this (in 20 years lol)

You are just as big a dolt with such foolishness

Since you claim to enjoy reading here you go

Oops you did it again.... always wrong with everything you post or agree with

I will not read it because I wasn't questioning Safety Zones. I do not care when they were established. I was only agreeing with Phil that you cannot read or comprehend what you read. So once again your presumption is wrong because your intent to correcting me is wrong and I stand by my comment that Phil is correct in assessing YOU CANNOT read!

I wholeheartedly agree that TJ either has a true reading comprehension issue, which if that is the case, I won’t make fun. And haven’t. Just pointed out he is not reading right.

or he does it on purpose. Which I think is the correct assumption. Which is why I have no issue with people poking jabs.

They may have been established in 1998, but those Community Safety Zones had no teeth legally speaking until speeding fines in those zones were doubled. And that didnt happen until May of 2017:

A Community Safety Zone (CSZ) is a designated stretch of roadway, recognized under provincial legislation, marked with community safety zone signs allowing the doubling of fines associated with speeding and, through the applicable sections of Bill 65, Safer School Zones Act, 2017 Opens in new window, the use of an automated speed enforcement system

I know that intersection.

I can picture the parks, but what school? There's nothing on that corner.
Actually there is. Its called Roselands Jr. Public school.

I just looked it up on google maps

If you can't control yourself from speeding then you shouldn't be driving! Simple. Just like in hockey, if you can't follow the rules then you end up sitting in the penalty box.

It is disturbing to see the gross behaviour of entitlement here on this thread. If you can't drive by the limit, then your vehicle should be confiscated.

Roselands Jr
(its down the hill so unless you know area or look at google you would not see as drive past)

There also are 2 other schools just up the block on other side so yeah I can see why it is classed as Community Safety Zone

There also is another City Toronto bylaw in 2004

Speeding fines have been doubled and speed limits artificially reduced for years

Seriously just give up
You are so wrong it is beyond laughable

Amazing how many people are complaining like there is a right to speed. Yes we all do it and most of us are willing to accept responsibility when caught.

But a cash grab is only a cash grab for the people caught breaking the law. For everyone else, it's called tax relief.

You don't only risk loosing you driving license but could end up in jail should you speed and hit a kid.
Going 30% over limit well get you a ticket in any speed zone. You are not only an idiot for speeding but also for playing the victim card. No one feeling bad for you
