Lots of signs like this between MB border and Thunder Bay, not sure if they are anywhere else in ON.My solution is to have a sign which states speed and pending fine.

As much as I'd like to agree with you, the camera's don't ding you for that "only 12km above" they ding y ou for "over the speed limit"...I'm ok with the camera if people are going excessively fast. 62 in a 50 zone is not excessively fast. Try driving 12 km/h its a crawl. This reminds me of the photo radar the Rae government brought in on the highways back in the early 90's. Simply a tax grab.
401 has those in droves...some make the highway their own racing track....bunch of assholes are behind the wheels these days.We need enforcement for distracted drivers more than anything right now.
Put your phones down and drive.
Doing all that would definitely worth an eighty dollar ticketHe was smoking a joint and drinking a beer driving his speedy muscle hamster vehicle en route to his prepaid BJ booking and voila, karma strikes.
They ding you for over 10 usually. Plenty of these cameras in Durham. Have always gone under 10 over and never gotten a ticket. It is not like you do 2 over and you are being busted. As much as I'd like to agree with you, the camera's don't ding you for that "only 12km above" they ding y ou for "over the speed limit"...
He wasn't... I walk at 12km/h... (when going to see an sp!)Easiest solution. Don’t speed.
I don't have a problem with red light cameras.I got hit with a $325 red light ticket on the way home from work the other day….
I appreciate the vigilantes who knock down these cameras every other day more now lol![]()

They need to pay those fat salaries for doing nothing somehow. They're tax and spend commies out there, worse than Chairman Chow
Yeah it’s my fault LOL that’s what happened when your running late for workTisk tisk tisk. Naughty girl
My problem with red lights is that it doesn't give enough time to slow down when the lights change from green to red. Its really only maybe 2 or 3 seconds, so i always find myself in a situation where i need to either breaks really hard or just accelerate a little bit and make it while it's still yellow. In my home country, there is at least 5 seconds of flashing yellow light in between, which makes a huge difference.
The only way around it, is, where it's possible, i look at pedestrian crossing lights along the direction where i am going and check if a countdown started. If it's like 5 seconds and i am too far from intersection, i will start slowing down.
Don't give them ideas ...We need to have an app installed on every car and it will identify any time you go 1 kilometer over the posted limit. You will be billed automatically and if you do not pay, they will confiscate your car, Garner your wages or imprison you.
Oh but he was.He wasn't... I walk at 12km/h... (when going to see an sp!)
It happens, don't be too hard on yourself. You drive a lot (probably more than anyone on this forum), so sometimes such situations might happen. Even Angels cannot be perfect all the timeYeah it’s my fault LOL that’s what happened when your running late for work- hopefully this will be my last and final red light ticket
Every goddam month they put up a set of lights at random intersections. Super quiet side streets that intersect with Bloor or St Clair get as much green light time as the busy major road theyI don't have a problem with red light cameras.
Now you've got it.City Council wants to drive drivers insane so they take the TTC or bicycle.
