JC, anyone who saw footage of the riot knows how violent it was. Cops were stuck with poles, bats, clubs. They were trampled on the ground. One rioter tried to gouge out a cop's eyes. They were pepper sprayed and bear sprayed. Just for doing their duty.
You can try and minimize that, but everybody saw the same footage and you're making a fool of yourself.
