Regardless of what Caesar had a clue about, he was murdered on March 15, the Ides of March. There is zero correlation between the Ides of March, the date that Caesar died and discussions of possible events of March 4.

You're making this much more complicated than it deserves. It should be obvious that my use of the phrase "Beware of the Ides of March" in my original post was a metaphor for political intrigue/drama.

What we need to keep in mind with his historical plays about Kings and court intrigue is that the Tudors were notoriously prickly about their claim to the Throne as their founder, Henry Tudor, was from an illegitimate line. On a side note, I looked up the latest election in Myanmar, the electorate gave the military a slap in the face which they couldn't abide. Correct me if I'm wrong, they were reduced to the 30 seats which may have been their initial allotment for free elections. Now they are contentedly killing protesters. I wonder if the PRC played a role in this? They are terrified of having democratic nations on their border. Hun Sen in Cambodia would have fallen by now if not for PRC support.

I would never put anything past the PRC or the PLA...Look what they "might" have done in India a few months back. There was a border skirmish in the Himalayas between the PLA and Indian troops. A few were killed. A few months later, the power around Mumbai went down due to malicious code...likely from China...

Whew! That was a long video.

What I tried to do in my original post was to draw a parallel between what is happening in the U.S. to-day to what happened in ancient Rome. Also, to draw a parallel between Trump and Caesar. Although there are, obviously, differences there are also striking similarities.

The good thing, so far anyway, is nobody has been assassinated in the U.S. So, "Beware the Ides of March", metaphorically speaking of course.
