Merriam Webster:
Definition of ides
: the 15th day of March, May, July, or October or the 13th day of any other month in the ancient Roman calendar

Britannica:
You have probably heard of the Ides of March, however, because it is the day Roman statesman Julius Caesar was assassinated. The immortal words “Beware the Ides of March” are uttered in William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar to the leader by a fortune-teller. Other bad things have happened on March 15, of course, but there’s probably no reason to beware March’s Ides more than the Ides of any other month.
In a 31-day month such as March, the Kalends was day 1, with days 2–6 being counted as simply “before the Nones.” The Nones fell on day 7, with days 8–14 “before the Ides” and the 15th as the Ides.

Oxford dictionary:
In the ancient Roman calendar, the ides is notionally the day of the full moon, and falls roughly in the middle of the month: the 15th of March, May, July, and October, and the 13th of other months. While the word can be traced to the Latin idus, the origin is unknown.

Movies are not accurate. Of those "next thirty days" only the 15th was the ides.

Nothing to do with March 4.

We all know the Ides of March is March 15th. That is not the question/issue here..

The question/issue is what did Willie Shakespeare meant when he wrote "Beware the Ides of March?

"According to the Roman historian Suetonius (690–130 CE), the haruspex (seeress) Spurinna warned Caesar in mid-February 44, telling him that the next 30 days were to be fraught with peril, but the danger would end on the Ides of March."

"Exactly a month earlier Caesar had visited a soothsayer named Spurinna. who had predicted that his life would be in danger for the next 30 days

What did George Clooney meant when he titled his movie: Ides of March? It was a metaphor for political intrigue/drama.

So, let's wait until midnight March 15th (not March 4th) before declaring it is safe to go outside (in the water?) again. "Beware of the Ides of March"

No shit...those nut jobs from Qanon really believe it's going to happen...the right side of American politics is a gong show...

Wait isn’t trump still a legitimate president? I thought he now rules from maralago (and will rule forever!) and sleepy joe is merely his puppet?

It's obvious there are two members here who never read nor studied Willie Shakespeare. Anyway, it's their loss.

To quote Willie again.
"Beware the Ides of March."

It ain't over until midnight March 15th.

An interesting debate between a political savvy progressive leftie and a loony Qanon talk show host. It's obvious he's just doing a schtick to attract dumbasses for his show.
I wouldn't describe Cenk Uygur that way.

So what time is this supposed to happen?
Since it is the "real inauguration" as per the Constitution before those icky people changed it, I would guess they mean noon. (The Constitution actually doesn't set inauguration day at March 4th and never did, so they can just make it up for whenever.)

Glad we could agree.

The question is what does an incident on March 15 have to do with March 4?
Because 5 - 1 = 4. It's Q's way of telling you what's going to happen. WWG1WGA.

As the video amply demonstrates, Caesar had no clue what "beware the ides of March" meant.

It meant that that there were dark forces conspiring to harm him (Caesar).

So, fast forward to 2021, are there dark forces conspiring now to harm Biden and/or Trump?

There was a play in NYC in 2017 that hinted at such a possibility.
Donald Trump vs. Julius Caesar: Outrage Over New York Play Completely Misses Shakespeare's Point (newsweek.com)

P.S. Quote about Cassius (Chuck Heston):

It is fictional. Shakespeare did not have a chance to speak to Caesar to find out what was in his mind.

Regardless of what Caesar had a clue about, he was murdered on March 15, the Ides of March. There is zero correlation between the Ides of March, the date that Caesar died and discussions of possible events of March 4.

P.S. Quote about Cassius (Chuck Heston)
Wrongo Dartsie.

Hammer Films veteran Derek Godfrey played Cassius, they guy with the very mean face. Jason Robards played Brutus and the great Charlton Heston played Marc Anthony...Caesar needs no introduction. Chucky gets the shaft due to his politics, but he's a much better actor than he gets credit for. He was awesome in a personal favorite: Touch of Evil and very good with the ears. You'll never guess whom I consider the best Marc Anthony - Bruno Gerussi (The Beachcombers) at Stratford.

An under-rated Canadian actor.

Oh darn. I got the right actor Charleston Heston but the wrong character (he portrayed Marc Anthony and not Cassius). Anyway, at least I attributed the right quote to Cassius.

House of Reps cancelled their session.
They should set a trap and let them come in. Once in, light them up! I'd cheer watching it on CNN.
