What NFL player inspired the league rule against using a helmet as a weapon?
This a murky question as there are different penalties and avenues to use the helmet as a weapon.

"Spearing" - leading with the helmet while using the body a "spear" to strike an opponent

"Helmet to head" - leading with the helmet to strike an opponent

"Targeting"

"Targeting a defenseless layer"

And then there is Myles Garrett who took helmet in hand to beat Mason Rudolph. Is it he you are talking about?

Not to be confused with Mason Rudolph, PGA golfer in the 1950s and 60s. LOL.

There is a specific rule, but the Garrett incident did not inspire this rule, another player from the 70's took helmet off opponent and threw it at him.

...........and the answer is Lyle Alzado

So if you exclude to 89-90 seaspn, Stastny wins 986 to 950
Here are the definitive numbers. You can't count the points in the 1989-90 season that began on Jan 1, 1990. Stastny outscored Kurri by 16 points.

RA Dickey was the last knuckleballer for the Jays, who are the 4 other KBers that have played for them?
Tom Candiotti and Phil Niekro I remember. Are the others perhaps in the Jays farm system or did they actually play in a game with the big club?

What Leaf has been selected to the most all star teams, (1st or 2nd team)?

Borje Salming
Salming is one, Tim Horton and The Big M also share the record at 6 selections

;

Candiotti and Niekro are correct, there are actually 3 others; Ryan Feierabend, Tomo Ohka, and Josh Banks, they all played with the Jays.

I don't recall Ohka being a knuckleballer. Feierabend I faintly recall. Josh Banks I have no clue who he is.

Before being a Jay, Ohka wasn't a KBer. His career started to fade, but he taught himself how to throw the KB, he was invited to Jays camp in 2014, but didn't make it out of spring training, still technically a Jay.

Banks pitched only 7 1/3 innings in 2007 for Jays.

If you are talking about spectator sports only vs. actually getting out and doing something, then all sports is trivial...
