IIRC the cops fucked up in the Breonna Taylor case and raided a house looking for someone who hadn't lived there for several months. I don't recall any evidence that her boyfriend was a "thug" and he may have thought that he was being home invaded. IIRC, it was unclear if the cops announced themselves before they started to break in.

Now re Ashli Babbit, let's do a test. You are the head of an armed mob of angry people who have broken into a government building to locate and beat or lynch those who work within. 2 cops retreat behind a locked door and say you are entering into a high security zone and they will shoot you if you force entry.
