If 6 degrees count I have one too.
Good friend of mine, one of those guys that women stopped to look at, he was that handsome. He played hockey for Cornell and went to Medical school.. the complete package. He went to LA for a week for a conference and while there a buddy of his set him up with Sherilyn Fenn. He was there for a week and saw her every night. I asked if she could really do the cherry stem trick with her tongue that she did in Twin Peaks and he said he didn't know about that but the control she had with her tongue he didn't doubt it.
Sherilyn Fenn couldn't knot a cherry stem with her tongue in real life, but her co-star, Mädchen Amick, (Shelly the waitress at the Double R Diner), could do it.

- Met Juan Guzman working in the Eaton Centre back in the 90's just after they won the World Series. He had the ring on at the time.
- Sold Roger Clemens some items while he was shopping the week after he started playing for the Jays.

As per other posters I have seen news reporters around downtown Toronto. Especially when I worked near Queen West and the tv/media buildings. Some people that I have seen walking the streets are George Lagogianes and Nathan Downer. One time walking to Union during rush hour to catch transit home I saw then city councillor Doug Ford walking past me on the same sidewalk saying hi/headnodding people along his way

I saw wazup from terb last year on queen st. Tall, handsome, funny, giving, charming, charismatic, he had it all. Trail of beautiful women close behind. He stopped and gave pictures and autographs to everyone before the GQ limo whisked him away. I froze I was so awe struck. There's a statue of him there now.

I just remember an overwhelming sense of being safe and that everything was going to be ok, and it has since 🙏 that day forward.

I met G-d many years. He was a burning bush, but I knew it was him. He told me to join TERB and my life has never been the same since.

Ken Wahl. Sitting on a bench in a mall....one afternoon. He was making eye contact with everybody who passed by, including me. Total stare down. I looked away. Kind of unnerving. This was after his motorcycle accident and his tv show was cancelled.

While cameras weren't allowed during wazups surprise visit, it was similar to this.

at work: Ruben "Hurricane" Carter

My colleague said to him "Good to see you!", he replied "Good to be seen!"

and we all laughed. He lived his final years right here in T.O.

not to piss on anyone's parade, I am sure all those were insanely amazing encounters for you guys, but what good did any of this do to anyone, except creating and feeding cults of celebrities who sometimes go into politics with disastrous results?
I personally give zero fucks about encounters with any of these people... Is anything wrong with me?
Yes there is something wrong with you. You like to piss on peoples parades 😄Folks here are shooting breeze.

On my one and only trip to Las Vegas in 1987, I saw Diana Ross and her husband walking down the strip. It was a supreme experience.

I'm guessing not recently unless it was a graveyard or old age home.

I confess that there must be something wrong with me, I just could give a shit if someone is a celebrity. While it might be great if you have low self-esteem and crave attention, it must suck to be good at a craft and imprisoned by the day to day adulation from the general population. Imagine that you can't visit Cafe Atlantis without your picture plastered on newspapers for friends and family to see not to mention that it could affect your job. (Okay, you get free fucks from star struck dancers but even that can come back and haunt you later in a courtroom.)

They are no different than you and me, let them live their own lives as we do.

I do have a flaw - I wouldn't cross the street to stare at a 'celebrity' but I do have a weakness for staring:

Yes, I would cross the street for her.
