They better get moving trading those two, their contracts expire at the end of the 2021-22 season.
There's also that pesky NMC in Malkin's contract to deal with, Letang has a limited NTC in his agreement.
Malkin turns 35 before next season will start, Letang 34 before this season ends.
Both have played their entire careers with the Penguins.

He left because he's 71 and didn't want to start a rebuild only to leave 2 years in and someone else finish it if it wasn't their plan. Burke is an opportunist with a shaky record the last 10 years. Calgary were glad to see him go. You are exceeding your free mentor time, I will be charging soon.
