My dear gentlemen,

I hope everybody find a bit of joy/joi in these difficult time. 🙃

I am conducting a little research here for business purpose and I would be extremely gratefull if you would take 5 minutes of your time to answer this simple question.

Gentlemen who buy gifts for your companions or wives only!!!

How frequently do you purchase gift in a year for your companions or significant other and how much do you spend in general on these gift?

Also, did your budget changed since covid (negative or positive changes)?

I wish I could give something in exchange of your time maybe a month free of OF?

Thank you so much ❤

Birthday, Christmas and Anniversary. Each $2-5,000 jewelry.

I personally don't have a schedule or budget for gifts. It can be something simple worth just a few dollars or expensive item costing hundreds or thousands.
Obviously she's not getting a car every other month or laptops or jewelery.
There would be times where she'll ask me about a certain costly item and most often she'll have it.
Usually, when there's an occasion for gifts, we have an arrangement where she just goes and buys whatever she needs. It's better than me guessing.
Covid hasn't changed much. If anything - it's more online now.

You could ask 10 people this and get 10 different answers. Whatever is in your budget. If they're not appreciative, move on.

I don't think I would date anyone that paid too much attention to material items, especially jewelry. Go out for an expensive dinner on anniversary, 100$ gift card on birthday and Christmas. You'd be surprised how much people like gift cards, gas cards, tim hortons etc.

Yes I'm single ladies, come get some.

I expect different data indeed hence why I ask people. This is not a thread to determine if you are cheap it is about consommation habit. It is really serious.

Oh, I don't think I'd spend more than 500$ per year. Still single.

Jesus Christ now I know why I am divorced!! :ROFLMAO:

Also birthday, christmas and anniversary but more like a cookbook or a daypass to a spa...
How about a vacuum? Does that count?

Birthday, Xmas, Valentine’s Day, Anniversary.

No particular budget. She’s well off enough she can buy expensive stuff herself.

But it’s always a thoughtful gift that she needs or she mentioned she’d like to have. A lot of time self made stuff. Or something we can use together (like event tickets).

The times I bought jewelry or handbag actually meant I got no idea that year or didn’t spend time thinking. Didn’t go well.

Happy to help.
4-6 times a year (excluding Christmas and B-day)
Often spur of the moment things, price range from 20 to120, say ~$60 average.
I do not really have a budget, but because we are not going out, I would say willingness to pay has increased somewhat as there are no competing expenses.

Message me if you have more question, happy to help an entrepreneur

I’ve been married too long. My SO and I have joint accounts, we plan our financial goals together. We both get whatever we want for the most part within budgetary reason. Our birthdays anniversaries are always joint decisions on where we want to spend them and how.

I will surprise her with flowers from time to time.
