I still think Hooterville should have gotten the Olympics.Green Acres was unapologetically stupid, that's what made it a great show.
Is Sanford and Son on CHCH? Redd Foxx was ahead of his time.
St. Catherines Black Hawks - ChicagoI remember when chch was famous for showing live hockey games of the Hamilton Junior Red Wings was a farm team of the Detroit Rd Wings playing against teams including the Toronto Marlies that was the Toronto Maple Leafs farm team. Also in that league were the Montreal Jr. Canadians and other teams connected with NHL teams. Best hockey ever.
And, albeit far too late, so did we all.Fun fact about Hogan's Heroes (well, maybe not fun but it's a fact.) Werner Klemperer played Colonel Klink. His background was Jewish and his family left Germany for the USA soon after Hitler came to power, but some of his family did die in the Holocaust. Apparently Klink wasn't originally supposed to be such an inept bungler as the series ended up depicting him - that was supposed to be reserved for Schultz - but when Klemperer (who'd had a pretty busy career in TV and movies in secondary roles and was much better known than Bob Crane, who played Hogan) was offered the part he agreed to take it only on the condition that Klink had to be a complete bungler. He refused to take the part if Klink was in any way depicted as a serious Nazi and only on the condition that Klink would never be able to get the better of Hogan. He wanted the Germans depicted only as fools. He got his way.

Bobby Orr played for the Oshawa Generals from ''63 - '65, the Boston Bruins Jr. affiliate.
You are correct about the Petes being the Montreal Canadiens Jr. affiliate in Ontario during the '60's and early '70s. Kingston was from '72 onwards.

I don't know... maybe on a drama series? The casts of Petticoat Junction and Green Acres crisscrossed on each others' programs all the time. Frank Cady in particular played on just about, if not every episode of both series as the same character (Sam Drucker the shop keeper).Did you know that Richard Anderson who played Oscar Goldman is the only actor to have appeared on 2 tv shows (The Six million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman) that aired at the same time?
