take the bus and wear a mask. problem solved.
Like he said,
Wear a mask, don't park in the parking lot, and walk over.
If you're still worried, wear a hat or neutral baseball cap.
What more disguise do you want?

But if you're still worried, then just don't go.

but don't wear an overcoat with nothing underneath that would just be creepy

The camera I saw is on their own property. Just a security camera so they know who's in the parking lot. If there's another next door I never noticed it.

The woman has started a YouTube channel I’m told. If she hasn’t yet she’s going to. Putting up Johns and their plates.

Couldn't that get her into legal trouble?
More reason to park elsewhere and walk over.

Youtube wouldn't allow it to be posted. She would face huge charges and lawsuits for invasion of privacy. What do you think would happen if you pointed a camera into your neighbors backyard? Most likely a complaint followed by police asking you to remove it. Lavilla has had police tell her she doesn't have to remove it but it cannot be turned on.

Update. I asked the front desk girl about it. She said the neighbour isn’t happy with La Villas business next door. And cops have been called. She stated that cops said they can’t do anything to La Villa and La Villa owner was going to get a peace bond so the neighbour has to stop harassing them. The lady next door doesn’t like the business she’s next too and tried to have them shut down. Also as a previous poster stated. It is definitely illegal to have a camera pointed directly at a neighbours property so I’m surprised she’s getting away with that.
I think it's more a deterent. could be one of those fake cameras that doesn't record anything. the neighbor is probably doing anything to affect the business of the spa...

Mates nothing good can come of this never again. I won’t be back. I told Tina/Kathy I will see them private only. Not taking any chances. I’m out out OUT!

I'm sorry, but this is total and absolute bullshit.

Charges? Lawsuits?

Tell that to this guy: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/london/london-camera-backyard-surveillance-1.5649350

Where's the charges? Where's the lawsuit?

Stop talking out of your ass.

Just to give an update on this, I was at LaVilla recently to see my regular.

There is a large makeshift "UNDER SURVEILLANCE" sign on neighbour's front lawn, clearly visible as you're driving up to LaVilla.
And there's another smaller makeshift sign hanging from the neighbour's eavestrough that is directly adjacent to the LaVilla driveway.
And we all know about the camera pointing down the driveway.
Despite numerous attempts by LaVilla owners to be a good neighbour and make peace, the neighbour remains hell-bent on trying to shut LaVilla down.

The worst part is that the neighbour's scheme is working, and is having a profound impact on traffic into LaVilla. I was told that some clients have even cancelled their appointment upon arrival after seeing the signs and the camera.
I feel bad for my regular at LaVilla, and all the others there. For these ladies, work is work, and a job is a job, and stupid neighbour is getting in the way. Why can't we all try to be civil towards each other?

I only posted this as an update from what I recently learned from my regular. I understand some Terbites' reasons for avoiding LaVilla, so I'm not going to debate that any further.
My advice is still the same: Park elsewhere, and walk over wearing a mask. COVID will keep you anonymous.

Went to La Villa Spa today. When parked in the back I saw a camera faced at the parking lot! And then a sign on garage saying “Smile youre on camera”

has anyone else noticed that? And how long has it been there? Also anyone ask what’s up with that?
It is illegal to have your camera pointed to private property like a rear yard. Despite it being a business...it is still private property.
