No one should - see - anything - about masks effectiveness from that info & those remarks. Because there's nothing there to see. Except some imaginary stuff in one's fantasy world & a logical fallacy.

BTW your article attributes the recent rise in infections to Thanksgiving gatherings.

It also says:

Which explains - why - infections have been rising for some time.

It makes no mention of masks not being effective.

Irrelevant because he's not referring to - or commenting on - what occurred months ago, but what's happening recently, i.e. the recent rise in infections.

However people have many interactions with other people not in their personal pod in private. Those count at least as much as people going into stores.

Compliance must be waaay less than 99%.

it is amazing how we can have seat belt, speed limits, red lights, stop signs without infringing on people rights. it is about safety for all not one. i am sure people will speed, go through red lights and do bareback with sp. but somehow the news media have pick up the voice of those far right cases as news during COVID.

I think that the condom comparison is incorrect. I would never put on a condom that allows the clap to penetrate.

1) How would you know you haven't already done so? Do you test each condom before you put it on?

Or at intervals during sex to make sure it hasn't been compromised?

2) Even if i knew the condom could allow HIV to penetrate, i would still wear it as opposed to the only alternative being the less safe option of no condom at all.

An umbrella with a few miniscule holes that allows a few drops to drip through is far better than no umbrella at all. Obviously i'd use that umbrella rather than no protection whatsoever.
