So far they're on course to have about 4,000 more deaths,...
Actually around 6,000 up from the average, a 7% increase in deaths.

Coincidentally they've had 6,000 deaths from covid.

p.s. Their daily cases are just 100 lees than the peak in June. Guess that herd immunity hasn't kicked in yet.

Stop making stuff up.
You are wrong. What a surprise.

Stop being an ostrich. Wake up and smell the covid. It'll be good for you to get a dose of reality.

"Experts" largely do agree - whether on the pandemic or on climate change or evolution by natural selection - whatever your particular issue of the day is. The problem is that by agreement among "experts" we mean that there's a broad consensus and there are always going to be a minority of outliers among the "experts" who don't go along with the consensus. Those who don't like the consensus then latch on to the outliers as if they are the ones who really "know" what they're talking about. What starts as a simple disagreement among "experts" then eventually morphs into a conspiracy theory among non-experts who don't really understand all the ins and outs of the issue but - damn it - they know they don't like what those "experts" are saying so the fact that a few of them disagree must mean that something nefarious is going on.
Consensus is often achieved on a political basis even if the science is far from settled.

Regardless with the 40% increase in deaths in Sweden in April, that means Swedes are dying before their time relative to the average.

Sweden is on pace for about 95,000 deaths this year, more than 6000 above 2019.
Math is not your strong point. Sweden averages 90,500 deaths annually. Source: https://www.statista.com/statistics/525353/sweden-number-of-deaths/
In 2020 so far they had 71,647 total deaths. That figure was 9 months into this year.

So 9/12 = 75%.
75% of 90,500 = 67,875.
71,647-67,875 = 3,772.

They are 3,772 deaths over their normal average deaths per year after 9 months, which is 67,875 deaths.
However their monthly average deaths have declined sharply over the last 4 months, so I wouldnt be surprised if they "only" have a couple of thousand increase in deaths by the end of 2020.

I will post the final tally in January of 2021 to see what the exact number is

At the current rate Sweden will end up with roughly 95,500 deaths, this is not taken into account any unseen and unnecessary deaths being seen from COVID, check that number in 2-4 weeks.
If they end up at roughly 95,500 that would be roughly over 5,000 excess deaths than their average over the last decade which is roughly the number of COVID deaths currently. That number would represent a substantial increase over the years.

You demonstrated nothing wrong with my math
I actually did because you took the lowest number of deaths (the year 2019) instead of the decade's average (which is about 90,500)

In a scientific sense, things are never settled. We believe there is always more to discover.

From a broader sense, people who claim the science isn't settled are typically full of shit.

Especially considering the spike in case rates.
