Time for you to accept reality. More and more closures will come if the current restrictions do not bring the numbers down. YOU KNOW, it's called "flattening the curve". If you would be an asset in preaching masks and social distancing instead of hoax and carry on with your life, then maybe the closures would be prevented. As I said to Canadaman/Decoy, all the Amigos can pat themselves on the back with every closure that occurs as they've played a role in the closings.
You and your buddies DS99 and escortxxx do love to pontificate about how right you are. Your shoulders must be getting sore from patting yourself on the backs.

Like I care what you think or write about me. Your opinions mean absolutely nothing to me, your constant insults mean even less than that. If slinging insults towards me make you feel like real men so be it.

I certainly don’t wear a mask in public to protect others from me. I wear a mask at work and when I’m out and about to protect myself from the sick idiots out there. Only time I don’t wear a mask is when I’m at home, in the car or with a hot SP. I have no plans to stop seeing SPs because you have decided that’s what’s best for you. In terms of virus, highly unlikely I have passed it on to anyone and I have not stopped going to work at the office since covid was a thing

I do not dine in at restaurants either. Most I do is the occasional take out to support a few restaurants close to me. Have no interest in supporting McDonald’s and chains like that, they have deep pockets, they will survive no matter what.

If you think it’s my responsibility to protect others from me you are sorely mistaken. Everyone has a responsibility to protect themselves. If people can’t look after themselves that’s on them, not me.

Even though it’s not relevant, I’ve already been to get my flu shot before the supply runs dry. Hopefully you have been out to get yours!!

Since you wear your mask and social distance then at least you are doing your part. I don't care if you wear it for others or for yourself, at least it's on and hopefully covering your shnozolla. LOL The problem is to many do not and that is what is causing the spread and the shutdowns.

The entire government, for 25 years, has been tax cuts to rich people and cuts to poor people.

Rinse and repeat.

Poor people have nothing left to give.
Rich people refuse to pay their "fair share".

The only people left to pay for corona is the middle class, through taxes.

That's the greatest fear of people like decoy.

Before it was "denial about corona", then anger.
He's in the stage of "bargaining".
Later will come a depression, most likely when he files his taxes next year.

Finally acceptance ... the acceptance that rich people got tax breaks, while he has to pay.

AND PAY HE WILL.

BIG MONEY !!!

This finish the MMC its time for them to cease to exist.

Thats total bullshit! I've seen maybe a handful of people not wear a mask in every retail store I've been to over the last 3 months.
Most stores wont even serve you or let you in the front door.

Face it Lefties, the mask policy simply isnt working.
You are now coming up with lame excuses as to why Ontario's new cases keep growing and you're failing badly

Do you notice the stores have not been shut down? Hmmmm, maybe because of the masks they are not considered spreaders??? Hmmmmmmm

I hate to tell you this, but people who are against the masks have one thing right: masks offer very little protection to the one who wears them but their effective in protecting others. So, when you wear a masks in a room with people who do not, you have very little protection, while if others people wear the mask and you do not, you are more protected. It is the standard "public good" provision problem: anyone will be better of if he will take his mask off given that everyone else will keep their masks on (or just do what they did before), but anyone would want to keep his mask on given that others will do the same. The government knows that people are selfish and tries to convince people that wearing masks will protect them, but, wile it is true for the population, it is not true for any individual person,

I have yet to insult anyone on this board. It very rare for me to do so. That does not mean I don't trigger people - I do walk on egg shells to avoid melting the snowflakes but their is the limit to how much you can do for others. And humans are not sharks, they are social creatures - a success made from helping others. This whole board is made on that principle.

Actually the mask is fairly ineffective . It blocks a small percentage of cases - like a seat belt it has limits.
The real failure has been lack of testing and contact tracking, which Ireland Germany and South Korea are doing well - as is Singapore.

And blocking travel form the oustide world and if you do have such travel, then having it controlled via enforced quarantine (no voluntary bullshit)

The left and right solution is belief in science (was right now left position) and harsh quarantine and travel blocks (some right, but not liberal right who likes global markets too much)
The irony is this is not actually a left or right issue other than a few crazies on the right arn't literate and the right amazing loyalty at any cost has skewed their usually cold and harsh logic.

And the "right" here calls anyone they disagree with left just as Ben called a master neocon left wing because my god, he was harsh and logical, and thus opposed to Ben's partizan pandering . ..

For the new right, all right people they disagree with are leftist. They in fact are not right wing at all but communist 5th colum destorying the right from within. Remember the commuinsts ran Fox news for a long while . . . (ie Wendi Murdoch)

It is funny that the White House in the USA has more covid members than all of Newfoundland.

We will soon be witnessing a new society where crime and corruption become rampant. A lot more people will be entering the black market and perhaps even an anarchy state could commence. That’s what happens when people are in dire circumstances and losing everything they worked for.

I think China has trolled the whole world with this virus.

They allowed no westerners in for months. They wouldn’t admit to anything, appeared to heavy hand the media, yet very scary footage was allowed to leak out. Such as:

- people randomly dropping dead in public
- people being chased by Covid squads
- people being welded into buildings
- people jumping from skyscrapers out of desperation
- wild speculation about makeshift crematoriums running around the clock

But here, none of those things happened. The world economy is shattered, except in China where it’s growing.

We got got.

People in restaurants and bars were made to wear masks as well.
In addition many restaurants and bars had contact tracing in place, something stores dont do

This is not an issue. The issue is: what the hell people are still doing in restaurants and bars? Masks efficiency is pretty small and the pecking order is (1) avoid crowded indoor places if you can and (2) wear masks if you have to go to such places. Buy vodka from LCBO and cook at home.

I’ve been distancing, staying away from crowds, washing my hands and wearing a mask since March, 7 months later here in October it’s getting worse and the end is not even in sight...frustrating to say the least.
