Where I work, we ran out of the high quality 3M N95s in August. I was able to obtain a lot of newly made in Canada N95, but not as good as the 3M. We practice a strict distancing, masks and even stricter policy of wearing wraparound safety glasses. Result? Not one case of Covid among several hundred employed- office and operations- fingers crossed! But, it's done deliberately, enforced seriously and using QUALITY PPE. It can be done, but what the general population is doing it is simply not enough.

Look at your supreme leader Dickstain Donald had he wore a mask like it was recommended by the CDC when in close proximity to others in public places and promoted it to Americans instead of constantly undermining it chances are he wouldn’t be in Walter Reed right now getting experimental drugs.
And many Americans would have avoided contracting the virus as well and would have still been alive.
1) Logical fallacy. The conclusion does not necessarily follow from the premise.
2) The rise in infections could be due to many other variables, such as people returning to school, more acting irresponsibly, more staying in higher risk environments such as indoors as the weather gets colder, etc,. In fact the rise could be even worse without masks being used.
And probably would be, because the scientific evidence says masks work. That's why in almost every nation on earth they are either mandated or recommended as per health experts instructions
3) Then why is it that Asian nations that use masks fared much better than Western nations that didn't use masks. Based on that info & your simplistic way of reaching conclusions, you should conclude that masks are working. But that would contradict your conclusion that masks aren't working. Can both be true, masks are working and masks aren't working?

You clearly don't understand much about masks or science.
Masks are meant to REDUCE the amount of droplets passing through them. This might be confusing to you but the 95 in N95 means they filter 95% of airborne particles. That means that even with a N95 there is the chance that viral particles will get through. Even non-medical masks stop some percentage of particles. Even if a mask only reduced particles by 30%, it reduces outgoing particles by 30% and incoming particles by 30% meaning only 9% of particles will get through.
And considering you admit that oral transmission is not the only vector and the fact that mandating masks in public doesn't mean masks are being worn regularly, it is stupid to claim masks are a problem.
You could also compare virus numbers in the US. It is easy to see that places with low mask wearing are doing far worse than places with high compliance.
For example, S. Korea where they had a daily new virus count of only 64 despite having a significantly larger and more dense population than Canada.
That's not how science works.
There are plenty of scientific studies on the effectiveness of masks. What do you have to offer to show masks actually help spread the virus?
And what does that have to do with my post?
BTW. If you had the slightest interest in information you'd know breathing spreads droplets and talking spreads more. (and then there's the whole allergy season thing)
