I agree and I'm all for it; I'd go way more than 3 though. How about have buses work in pairs and have TTC Special Constables enforcing capacities on all of them.

We can’t stop this virus anymore than you can stop the common cold, or the flu from getting around every year.

If we can't stop this virus - how is it that Florida & Texas who had the same idea and now has 15 x our infected rate & the proportions of death that follow it ?

Obviously not everyone is following the mask / distancing or nobody would be catching it. The majority of people catching it are under 40 and it is of little surprise that the schools have opened up and the parties have begun. Call it a wild ass hunch (I'm not a doctor) but if the virus is allowed to spread unabated - it is only a question of time until it strikes into the more vulnerable part of the population - elderly, over weight, diabetics, etc. I think that is the concern - the virus could spread fast enough even the hospitals that could save people would be overcrowded.

Now if welcome to life for some means welcome to death for others and that's not a problem - maybe we should have a mandatory test - those that are at risk we just put a bullet in their heads and be done with it. Then the parties can begin - with the old man dead and you now driving his car - it's all great !

Our governments are tossing literally billions in all directions. A few extra millions for the TTC in this case would make no difference and would demonstrate that they're serious and competent. They've spent all day bitching about a car meet in Hamilton, yet a potentially real super spreader event goes completely unnoticed- and it's a daily occurrence.

Ontario Ministry officials claim 4 billion has been made available to municipalities.
$2B of which is directed toward keeping transit going.
TTC claims they have added 110 buses but the route I took yesterday seems to have less buses.
Bus was packed and the restriction signs on seats removed.

Majority of positive cases are the result of young people congregating in high numbers, they are either not wearing masks or not wearing masks properly-that is not covering the nose while . I see a lot of people not covering the nose (mouth is covered) while talking close to some one completely maskless.
