Like wearing a condom, wearing a mask is just common sense

''Can you reuse a disposable mask? How many times?":

While cloth masks are designed to be washed and reused, most medical-style disposable masks are officially designed for a single use — especially in higher-risk environments.

But Kumar says you can reuse them, especially if you're just out and about in an area with a low prevalence of COVID-19.

Between uses, he recommends leaving the mask in a paper bag for at least three days. During that time, any virus on the mask will gradually decrease.

He says it would be "perfectly reasonable" to have five to seven masks that are rotated into use on subsequent days.

How many times can you reuse a disposable medical-style mask?

Kumar says with this type of mask, what you see is what you get, so you can reuse it until it's dirty, worn or damaged.

"Obviously, you don't want to reuse a mask that's soiled," he says.

N95 masks can also be reused, Kumar says.

... Medical-style disposable masks can be steamed or exposed to sunlight to kill the virus more quickly, Kumar says.

Still not convinced of that. The numbers dont show it
Your scepticism would be valid though IF everyone were wearing masks and avoiding large social events.

There is pretty much 100 years of data showing masks REDUCE the risk of infection.

Have a look at Sweden again, they are now doing better than their neighbours without having made masks mandatory:

Lockdown-free Sweden's coronavirus case rate is now lower than Nordic neighbours Denmark and Norway with just 12 new infections per million people over the past week
  • In comparison, Norway saw 14 new infection per million, and Denmark saw 18
  • It is the first time Sweden has had a lower rate than its neighbours since March
  • Positive signs may silence some critics of Sweden's lockdown-free approach
  • However, Sweden has so far reported 5,832 deaths caused by Covid-19, more than six times as many as Denmark (264) and Norway (629) combined

Their neighbours also have a low rate of mask use.

And way fewer deaths than Sweden.

The vast majority of countries & experts disagree with you.

IMO the evidence supports those experts
The experts dont know shit. Here's what the WHO said just a few months ago:

WHO stands by recommendation to not wear masks if you are not sick or not caring for someone who is sick

World Health Organization officials Monday said they still recommend people not wear face masks unless they are sick with Covid-19 or caring for someone who is sick. "There is no specific evidence to suggest that the wearing of masks by the mass population has any potential benefit. In fact, there's some evidence to suggest the opposite in the misuse of wearing a mask properly or fitting it properly," Dr. Mike Ryan, executive director of the WHO health emergencies program, said at a media briefing in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday.

Can we at least agree that since masks were made mandatory the daily new infection rate has not gone down?
Can we agree that there are also more interactions between people as other restrictions are eased.

Yes, but a lot of those interactions have been outside.
Restaurants for example are mainly patios now. Or they are takeout.

Can you name any other daily indoor interactions that have increased since masks became mandatory in Ontario??

Is that the same WHO that the right was trying to discredit for being a patsy of the Chinese? But now they are credible?

Once again you completely misunderstand the point someone is making, and need things spelled out for you.

My point was a few months ago WHO was saying dont wear masks, now all of the sudden they say we should wear them.
They are clueless. They are only mandating masks because they're trying to play it ultra safe.
Meanwhile we have to wear these stupid things every day, and its starting to annoy a lot of people

You are referencing an article that was done in March back when PPE was in short supply and front line workers were at risk of running out of PPE, there are articles from that period where frontline workers had to recycle PPE and use garbage bags for protection. Hindsight is 20/20, the WHO and other governments made a call to lie about masks so that frontline workers who carried the burden were best protected. In retrospect, it was a bad call as China was able to get back to work and saturate the market with PPE shortly thereafter, but if China was not able to do so then the lie would still be carried on to this day so that frontline workers would get all the PPE.

You keep banging on about Sweden as an example to follow, but only lately has Sweden has done ok. There are other countries that at the very start was ontop of things with PPE, testing, contact tracing, etc... like Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia. Taiwan has a total of 7 deaths, SK has a total of 336 deaths, HK has a total of 98 deaths, Japan has a total of 1363 deaths, NZ has a total of 24 deaths, AUS has a total of 762 deaths. Sweden on the other hand has over 5k deaths, yet that is the model you advocate for and not the other countries that have done about 10x better than sweden on a per capita basis.

I bet you right now, on the Swedish equivalent of TERB, they are discussing how they wish their C19 response was as good as TW,HK,SK,JPN,NZ, and AUS.

It was more than masks. It was how they allowed the Chinese to spread it around the world without checking their data. I forget the details, but the head of the WHO was disparaged. The righties were all in favour of no more funding for the WHO, and that was not simply over masks.

But thanks anyways for your conveniently incomplete spelling lesson.

Of course not
Liberals think mask armour is infallible
They blame those who refuse to wearing masks as the "real" cause of covid

Never mind that even in countries where they wear masks still having covid outbreaks

MASKS DO NOTHING
The stupidity in trying to claim otherwise (or even trying to blame others for eg "failing to wear a mask properly" is laughable)

No Lib has ever said that. We are not that stupid. Provide a quote that says that masks are what you claim.
