Actually they were not all wearing masks. (That's part of the problem.) Obviously people at restaurants don't wear masks while eating. If they wear them at all. And the vast majority i've seen in restaurants do not wear masks at all
The vast majority of restaurants in the GTA are patio or takeout right now.
Very few offer indoor dining

Furthermore many are not wearing masks at all when they leave home
If you mean when they walk out the door then obviously not.
But almost everyone is wearing them inside stores, shopping malls, businesses, elevators, takeout restaurants......etc.
So you're not being completely honest here in your assessment

How much worse would the number of infections be if they were full of indoor dining!

Not in Vancouver from my observations in the highly populated downtown area. Most are not wearing masks at all.
And many do not practice social distancing either. BTW infections have been rising.

" “If we release restrictive closures without ramping up other public health measures, the epidemic will resurge with a magnitude depending on our future effort and could exceed the capacity of our health care system and require the reimplementation of lockdown restrictions,” the researchers said in the report."

An Amigo expressing his rights. A day in the life of a stable genius! I will bet $1000.00 he is a right-winger Trumpfart supporter.

I was praying the young lady was going to body slam the godly Amigo on to the concrete floor.

These "Stable Genius" crowd or should I say the Covidiots for the very high majority subscribe to Alt Right ideology, it is no surprise they are repeating the same nonsense they see on Alt right news media, or social media and what Dickstain Donald Trump says.

" U.S. biker rally may have led to 260,000 new COVID-19 cases: study

The bikers generally did not wear masks or practice social distancing, the study said, citing media reports.

Using data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the researchers then showed that a month following the rally, cases in the county where Sturgis is located rose by six or seven per 1,000.

U.S. counties that contributed the highest numbers of attendees experienced a rise of 7 to 12.5 percent in the number of cases compared to those that did not contribute inflows.

Researchers said their calculations indicated "a total of 263,708 additional cases in these locations due to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally".

What does that have to do with the fact masks havent brought down the new infection rate in Ontario.

Another 149 new cases today

We're not in Vancouver, we're in Ontario. Stop changing the subject please

It has to do with your remark i was responding to.

Mask use does work towards bringing down infection rates, but other factors have caused the rate to rise in spite of that. Do you not realize that there is more than one factor in play re infection rates?

Speak for yourself. I'm not in Ontario.

The subject is my post #198 re 500 infections in Canada, not Ontario.

Of course he hasn't realized there are other factors in play in regards to infections rates. He keeps repeating the same thing why hasn't infections gone down more and actually reason compared to before if we are wearing masks, not understanding more people going to work now then before, more people going out for food, shopping than they were before, and some not obeying the rules I am sure there are others I missed.
If he understood these facts he wouldn't repeat the same flawed posts about masks over and over again.

More people were going to work, going out for food and shopping well before they made masks mandatory

Not to the extent they have been doing in the last while
Not really. If anything a bit less because more people were outside during the summer.
With winter coming now I expect a 2nd wave

Your personal opinion is incorrect as usual and opposite the the facts.

-There are more businesses open and operating now then there were months ago
-There are more people going out for food and socializing now then there were months ago
-There are more people out shopping now for the upcoming school year then there were months ago.
-There are more people holding parties indoors and outdoors now with larger Capacities then before
-There are more people travelling now then they were before

All of the above have significantly increased in activity in the last 2-3 months

Then there is also the increased number of COVIDIOTS being out and about and doing all the above

trump,

-Projects conflicting "maybe they work, maybe they don't" attitude on masks

-Stresses that masks are voluntary, but he won't wear one, against recommendations

-Says the government is allowing the states to implement mask rules

-Praises protestors in blue cities/states who don't want to wear masks

-Wears a mask for the first time, thinks it makes him look like the Lone Ranger

-Claims he's always been pro-mask

-Holds rallies & events with no mask policy enforcement

-Gets pissed off at reporters for wearing masks

Hey remember when Hillary was too emotional to be the president? Is there any bigger bitch than Mango Mussolini?
lol

Not true. Restrictions were eased well before masks were made mandatory in Ontario

100% true.
There are more people today going on about their daily lives today then there was pre phase 3 which I believe was July 17 for Toronto. That's just simple common sense although for the likes of you it needs to explained over and over to.

Again

Regardless if restrictions were eased before masks were made mandatory as of today there are more people going about their daily lives as they were pre phase 3, that has a significant affect on the spread of the Coronavirus, it has been explained to you numerous times unfortunately your oblivious to scientific data and facts and more into anecdotal evidence.

A simple way to understand this is look at the job numbers now compared to May, June, or even July..............Up
Look at the number of business transactions (POS) transactions now compared to May, June or even July.....Up
All of these numbers are significantly higher not that you understand what that means as usual.
