I'm going to need to go back to Beale St, getting Cajun food in Toronto is difficult.

Any suggestions?

Zaibetter, your video has gone 404.

Lidia Bastianich has become to those born after 1970, what Julia Child was to Baby Boomers. Her son Joe has taken over Mario Batali's restaurants. He's the manager but she's the creative genius.
She had her grand-daughter helping her make a dinner for her slumber party. Lidia asked her if her friends were picky, she replied with sincerity, "Grandma, my friends will eat anything you make".

Tutti a tavola a mangiare.

Some good ideas on Pit Boy, thanks luvyeah.

By favorite BBQ isn't even North American, it's Korean. Known as Galbi, it supposedly originated in LA's Korea town. The best I've had are from the food court at The Village on The Grange. Don't know the name of the place, just how to get there.

If there are better places, unlikely, post them here.

Although they share live fire as a cooking medium, grilling and barbecuing are different cooking methods producing different results. It's easier to count ants in a colony than to enumerate all the advice (oft times conflicting) and recipes for each method floating around around www:world. Good place to learn though is from some of the best practitioners, like Adam Perry Lang (https://www.amazon.com/Serious-Barbecue-Smoke-Outdoor-Cooking/dp/1401323065) and Austiin royalty Aaron Franklin (https://www.amazon.com/Franklin-Barbecue-Meat-Smoking-Manifesto-Aaron/dp/1607747200) (https://www.amazon.com/Franklin-Ste...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=XTD9102WZH85K1EBYZJ8).

When I get to London, I have to go to this place for lunch. All I know about Hoxton is that it was featured in one of Basil Rathbone's, Sherlock Holmes films.

Thank you...will try doing Korean ribs this summer. This weekend is probably yummy, messy and saucy bbq ribs.

Have a happy Canada Day long weekend everyone! :)

A pastry chef goes to hell...one of the best Bon Appetit episodes ever.

Don't know why YT cuts midstream, start from the beginning.

I have a sister-in-law who is Korean and a brother-in-law who came from Jamaica. As I'm writing I can hear them in the back ground trying to convince each other for our get-together on Canada Day, whether ox tail is tastier than Korean BBQ ribs or otherwise! Happy Canada Day! :yo:

Fire Masters is a Canadian show that was syndicated for American broadcast.

This episode features Canada's latest culinary star Lindsay Porter. She lost weight and dolled herself up for Guy's Grocery Games. She's still adorable here in one of Firemasters early episodes. Former Carolina Panther cornerback Eddie Jackson is one of the judges. The NFL being a brutal league, he was cut after tearing up his cruciate ligament.

Kate Ovens takes the Nutella stuffed pancakes challenge, carbs is the toughest. And they are not light and fluffy white.

She's adorable, why does she do this to herself?

Well thanks Druid, that's the best compliment I've had in a while. I referenced you in the classical thread, deathcore classical.

Ya gotta love a girl who can handle her meat.
