Well, that's worth about $80/h.
That’s my feeling too. If the service is no longer there the rates have to be ultra low.

Either way I won’t go. The agency can fold, the girl can go find work elsewhere.

The agency can stay closed until a vaccine is found

Look when the dentist are opening in Toronto probably they are at the stage 3 or the latest stage of opening their practice in Ontario.
Dentist fall under one of the high risk category since they deal with patients open mouth and working with teeth! When drilling teeth they will definitely airborne or aerosols the virus all over the office with each patient!

Service providers are the highest risk category in term of contracting covid19 because of the intimate contact with the client. They should be the last one to be open. Hopefully when they open maybe there will be few cases in Toronto like in the teens with the downward trajectory.

PS. Personally I won't go near a service provider until a vaccine is developed.

Some Dentists have been open all along to provide emergency dental work.
And according to some of the posters on this board seeing an escort is now a defcon 1 emergencey.....just saying :)

Agencies that embrace these ludicrous new rules will lose business, and new agencies will replace them. Fortunately this industry is a free market.

TP will open shop the same time as Allegra.

The fearful ones must be ticked.

The business will thrive again without “super spreaders” such as yourself and rates are going up.

Realistically, the girls will most likely get C19 which is not really a problem provided they isolate for 2 weeks, I can not imagine that any of the girls are in the C19 high risk category. After the girl recovers from C19, she can resume working and it is just a matter of sanitation to stop the spread.

If there was some proof that the girl already has the C19 antibodies that would be stellar for advertising.

I think Allegra should put thought into an allowance for the girls who get C19.

How cavalier, oh yeah sure not really a problem that an SP may get so sick from having repeat intimate contact with people that they need to be hospitalized with the potential of life long health complications. And you know, worse comes to worse, possibly death. No biggie. Let's not even consider new research coming out that the virus may fuck with a woman's reproductive system: https://academic.oup.com/molehr/adva...aaa030/5828941. I'm sure there are no SPs who would ever wants to have kids one day.

I was not advocating opening or not opening but making a logical deduction as to how it will play out if they do open and it looks like they intend to open.

I do not think the current situation of SPs operating out of rented apartments will work out. Residents probably already know what is going on and turn a blind eye to it, but with C19 they will complain to management or call the cops.

For the sake of the residents in the apartment building, the SP should operate out of a home or a commercial/industrial unit.

It's a numbers game.

In a strip club, a couple hundred guys and a dozen women are all in breathing-space. A girl makes her rounds, talking to all of the customers, gets to sample the breath of each of them and spread on to the next one. Great spreading vector. If any one of them has it, symptoms or no, they can spread to all. And that's one day - a typical Tuesday.

For an escort, there are half a dozen encounters for an SP, and one - ONE - for a client. Yes, those encounters involve more intimate contact. But six possible candidates versus a couple hundred seems a lot lower risk.

Yes, there's a greater chance of transmission than a casual encounter in a bar or restaurant. But the virus has to be present in one of those encounters if anyone's going to catch it.

If a super-spreader tries to transmit by visiting a few strip clubs over a two week period, that's a thousand possible contacts. If a super-spreader goes to see escorts, that's a possible half-dozen encounters, and each of those would have a half dozen contacts. The numbers are far smaller.

I certainly wouldn't go to a sports event, or a crowded restaurant, or a concert. But one-on-ones with a handful of people doesn't seem anywhere near as likely to result in catching something.

We all will make our own decisions. For myself, I'm not as worried as some.

But clubs and bars can ask their staff to wear masks and limit the number of people in a given time....strip clubs would have to remove lap dances and there wouldn’t be any physical contact....visiting SPs is a lot more intimate and a lot of guys don’t want an experience with limited contact and use of gloves and masks.....I’m all for opening that agencies ASAP but think there are many variables to both sides....with protocols put in place it can reduce but doesn’t necessarily diminish the risk altogether....
1) It's not going to work to have customers in a bar wearing masks. You have to remove the mask to drink. Is it a remove-sip-replace routine? Good luck.

2) Limiting the number of people at one time - yes. Have a strip club with no more than eight customers at a time? Doesn't make economic sense. (The drive-through strip club that got in the news was a funny stunt, but it aint gonna run for the rest of the year.)

3) If limiting the number of participants can bring levels down to where you feel safe, then limit escorts to two clients a day. As someone here noted, charge $1,000/hour. They'll still make their day rate, will limit community contact, and those with the means will still be able to enjoy sex with young willing women.

I personally won't be one of them, but it's sometimes nice to know that it's a cost thing and not a law thing. Pre-Covid, I couldn't afford hiring three sexy nymphos for a two-hour foursome in a Toronto penthouse... except in the back of my mind I know if I reeeeeeally wanted to, I could. I might have to sell my car, or win the lottery, or change my food habits for two years, but if I really wanted to, it was always a definite option. Whereas money or not, it's almost impossible to arrange that in Salt Lake City.

Just open now.

I haven't paid any attention to whatever regulations they are imposing. Just doing my normal thing. No masks, no washing hands more frequently. Never been sick. I haven't -seen- anyone that has been sick worse than the typical flu.

I'm going to trust my eyes rather than the hearsay from the TV.
That's because you came from Uranus.

Well I heard that clubs and bars already opened with those protocols in the states and doing fine...Manitoba has opened bars and gyms finally...but who knows what the future holds here?...one day I hear cases drop the next it goes up....as another Terb member mentioned any solutions of our current response have long been realized and it doesn`t make sense to expect continually better results from the exact same lockdown and safety measures....They tell us to social distance stay home and social distance yet they still allow for flights abroad...anyway I digress...

If the costs rise then we know it’s going to be a small segment that will be able to afford those services...all I know is at the end of day doesn’t matter if you’re in contact at a bar or SP...the risk will always be there but I guess some guys love to coddle themselves with a false sense of security....
You and that TERB member whose screen name rhymes with kook (Malibuk) are so out of touch with data and facts, and your posts are simply opinions that are non factual.
Flights are leaving Canada yes but when you re enter Canada all Canadian's must be in mandatory isolation for 14 days. Quite a few countries you'd be visiting also require you to be in mandatory insolation for 14 days. So yes you can travel but expect to be isolated for at least 14 days and up to 28 days in a lot of cases.

As for the ridiculous non factual assertion that "it doesn't make sense to expect better results from the exact same lockdown and safety measures" You and that member have no knowledge of the facts and data that is out there for everyone to see. If one takes a look at lockdowns in countries that are now in the process of lifting their lockdowns such as Italy, Spain, Denmark, Japan one would see that is exactly what the lockdowns achieved.

What we do know is that isolation/quarantines work, and combine that with tracing and health measures and the number of cases and number of deaths will be kept to as low as possible.

The daily rate of infections across Canada can be tracked below:
https://covid19tracker.ca/
I agree with the good wisdom of Khufu other than how you view the rate of new infections. As I believe in the US, this includes positive tests, which is not the relevant factor when the pure number of tests is skyrocketing, which distorts the "curve" of risks.

Obviously, the more you test, the more cases you find. However, it has been recently pointed out that you may have a positive virus test, but it is no longer active - not spreading in the body - so can do no more harm nor transmit at this stage.

What is more important is the rate of hospitalizations (unclick infections and click hospitalizations in the charts). These are the new active patients, which is more important to know where you are on the curve or what stage to be in. Other than the huge spike in early April (probably a nursing home), the new hospitalizations are fairly level at a fairly low rate. We need that curve to bend down more, which should relate to what stage we (you) are in.

What is missing in the link is the "New" but by province, not just all of Canada.

As Kufu suggested it is a fine line balance between economics and health risks. The reason the curve didn't go down as much in some areas both in the US and Canada is people like our Russian-Man and others went out in public without masks and some of them had the virus -unknown to them. So folks that didn't follow the rules kept the virus going.

The staged lockdown makes sense only if folks follow the restrictions.

All that isn't going to matter because those idiots in Trinity Bellwoods yesterday are going to send us back to square one.

The people praising those Covidiots for defying the rules yesterday are going to be very disappointed when phase 2 is pushed back and rightfully so due to the increase in cases in a few weeks.

What makes you or anyone think the number of cases won’t increase when stage 2 gets the green light? How are the conditions going to be any better or different versus yesterday if stage 2 starts one week from now or one month from now?

Apart from the kids not using face coverings to prevent the covid tan lines that will be the only real difference I can see if stage 2 started tomorrow, one week from now or one month from now. It’s not like there will be a vaccine

Let me guess your answer: testing and tracing apps need to be in place first.
