Not impressed with Matthews he's shit for a 36 goal scorer, Marner still can't see the ice well, and Wilma not worth the $6.9M. The Leafs are trash, follow the Raptors and I love Kawhi, he has big hands and a great laugh.
They should trade all 3 for a 3rd line grinder with a decent work ethic. THAT'S what a winning team needs!

A gud pro.
Goes to the hard areas.
Digs in the corners.

You needed to explain this?

The most positive thing I saw in the two big wins was that the Leafs handled the physicality very well. Especially against the Stars who tried to bang the Leafs into submission. I expect a lot of the remaining games will be a lot more physical as teams are now more desperate for points.

As always a couple of wins changes the mood quickly but the road to playoffs is still full of obstacles and it’ll be interesting to see how the young Leafs handle tighter checking and rough stuff the rest of the way.

I was trying to mock some of the other posters on here.
I’m sorry, I do apologize.

It’s difficult to know a person’s personality on line, so sometimes you think the worst

JCpro once said Marner doesn't see the ice well. Watch this video, you'll get schooled on Marner's incredible vision.

JCpro once said Marner doesn't see the ice well...
jcpro obviously knows more than that clown Sheldon Keefe.
Coach Keefe (Chief Keefe) said about Mitchell Marner after the Dallas game:
"The nice thing about him is that the offensive instincts that he has really translate to his defensive game as well".

Marner's offensive instincts and vision is incredible. That is something that you can't teach. He still could use some work on the defensive end but he's paid to produce not prevent goals.
My biggest beef with Marner and Matthews is that they hot dog it too much. Guys we know you're super talented and yes fans want to be entertained but want we want more than anything is a Cup.
It is nice to see Nylander really stepping up his game. I, like many Leaf fans, have been super critical of his lackadaisical play for the past year or so. Now if we can only get Jonsson and Kapanen rolling.

It was basically just Benn who started banging. To get his team going and Dallas did respond. But credit to Leafs they weren't intimidated. Kept playing their game. Benn did have an opportunity to lay one on a prone Muzzin but didn't and made more effort to avoid contact and skate by him. Much respect to him for that play.

Kapanen not in the game against Ottawa. Trade possibility or is he injured? Hutch in net.

Individual success is meaningless unless the Leafs can make and go deep in the playoffs.

Plus/minus for Marner (Plus 4), Nylander (0) and Tavares (Minus 6).

Leafs have found their backup.
In his last 4 starts, Michael Hutchinson is 4-0 with a Save %age of .948
Michael Hutchinson is now up to a 0.902 SV% since the coaching change.
His two worst appearances were in relief for Frederik Andersen in blowouts.
In starts, Hutchinson is a 0.927 under Keefe.

Plus/Minus is an archaic, mostly useless statistic.

As per the Maple Leafs, it is not injury related.
He's not ill, he's at the game, in the press box (as is MR44).
According to Joe Bowen, late for practice was reason for scratch.
