I was off on my prognostication this week and my Packers lost. Oh well at least I won in fantasy :)

It's a tough picking week with 6 teams on the bye. Here are my best (better) bets this week:

1) I like my Packers to get back on track this week at home. I'll take them with the 5.5 points over Carolina.
2) I like the Bears -2.5 at home to put a halt against their 4 game losing streak. The Lions don't have a running game to speak of and their defense is pretty pitiful.
3) Cleveland is 2-6 and they are favored at home minus 3 against the 6-2 Bills. Logically puzzling but this has all the makings of a trap game which is why I'm going to lay the points with the Browns.
4) Arizona should cover the 4.5 in TB this one looks like it will come down to whoever has the ball last.

I had Browns, Bengals and Steelers today and went 1-1-1. I bet $90 total and lost $3 but it made the games much more interesting to watch.

I heard mention that the Chargers could possibly be moving to London as the games there are drawing 70,000- 80,000. Interesting but I think the home field advantage would be amplified due to the huge time difference.

Like when a west coast team has to fly 12 hours. Can't see it happening due to logistics.

I had a profitable week, most of my picks hit. KC was my biggest letdown.

I see this is as a pretty tough picking week. Even tougher than last week which crazily enough I did very well with. This week there are a lot of close games on the sked. Flip a coin with that Redskins-Jets tilt. I also see NO-TB, Buf-Mia and Jax-Indy all being within a FG. My bettor bets for week 11

NE -3.5 at Philly. Give Belicheck & Brady a week to prepare and coming off an embarrassing loss. I feel sorry for the Eagles. They will likely get throttled. Something ain't right in Philly land. Wentz hasn't been good. The D has been suspect. And the receivers have been dropping balls all season. The running game has been pretty good and NE's run defense is weak spot, but my guess is that is something that they focused on with the week off. NE by at least a TD in this one.

KC -4.5 at LA Chargers. Neutral site game in Mexico on Monday night. The Chargers have been a tough team to predict. They can look really good one week and not so good the next. Rivers has been throwing a lot of picks, including 3 last week in the loss to the Raiders. This is Mahomes second week back after injury my suspicion is he wants to prove that KC is legit and that he's ready to lead them to success. They have focus in the running game, boast speedy wideouts in Hill and Hardeman that can stretch defenses and the best TE in the league in Kelce. If only they can get their run D shored up. I think this week they take it to the Chargers and win 38-30. Aribba.

Houston +4 at Baltimore. The Ravens have been scorching and are on a 5 game winning streak including that thumping of the Patriots back in week 9. QB Jackson is a legit MVP contender. But they are going to be facing an impressive QB on the other side of the ball in Deshaun Watson. The Texans are a solid team on both sides of the ball and are coming off a bye. They're hungry and they will give Baltimore everything that they can handle and more. Not saying Houston is going to win but they will keep this one close. Ravens win by a FG max.

I'm going to pull my Houston pick I'm actually not sure on that one. Will Fuller V is also out. Gonna switch with Dallas -4.5 over Detroit. No Stafford. I know that the Cowboys often play down to their competition but in this one they need the win after last Sunday's heartbreaking loss to the Vikings.

The bookies readjusted for Stafford and moved it to 7 points. Dallas wins by 8 because Lions missed a 2 point conversion.

That's true. But for my weekly pool its based on early lines. I was right to get rid of the Houston pick they got spanked. The Ravens are easily the hottest team in the NFL.

Surprising. I expected it to be a tougher picking week than it actually was.

When do you have to pick by? If it's later in the week when the spreads have changed, that's a big advantage.
