For the love of God I hope if we get a new stadium, we don't have a roof like the one Tampa plans on. One like Seattle, Houston or Arizona would be good
For the love of God, where are we gonna put our new, wonderful new stadium??!!

The Jays are severely disadvantaged by playing on turf.....
And yet the Arizona Diamondbacks have switched to artificial turf and the Texas Rangers are switching from natural grass to artificial turf in their new stadium.

They are?
The Jays are severely disadvantaged by playing on turf, Shapeyero is full of methane if he thinks differently. They wont be able to keep any of their prospects and no free agents of impact will move to Toronto. Doig a "big plan" with Rogers Centre is like putting dandelions on a corpse.

The Rays are moving ahead with a new stadium.
What g costanza said. From what I am reading they have not been able to find a suitable location.

He's top 5. He's given up 5 tonight. Is that what's supposed to happen?
happens to everybody now and then,,,,will see how the season progresses - but I would not see him as a top 5 pitcher. Those moon shots last night were magnificent...and the Rays are awesome.I was at game

Anybody know why Janssen pinch hit in the ninth rather than Drury? Charlie seems to overestimate Janssen..bats him way too high in order

If you're referring to the second throw that was not Hernandez, it was Galvis
Hernandez had 2 assists last night and both were excellent throws. The final out was a text book relay. Hernandez also ran the Jays out of an inning, so while he had a couple of great plays he still doesn't have his head in the game 100% of the time, but, major improvement from last year, at least so far!

I'm hoping that his fuck-ups are lack of experience and not lack of concentration. But he's contributed timely hitting as well on a team that's short on that.

Hernandez is in his 8th year as a pro, I would hope it's not lack of experience.

Toronto~born Joey Votto (Cincinnati Reds) is in his 13th major league season.
He did something tonight he's never done before as a major leaguer.
He popped out to the 1st baseman.

Mr. Votto has seen 27,918 pitches in 6,829 At Bats.

Call up Friday so his first at bat is on the road and not overwhelmed by home game pressure or call up Monday so he’s ready to go Tuesday against SF?

But.......but......we just won 3 out of our last 4.

Plus our offence is picking up.

Plus we have a kickass Triple A farm team.

Not all is lost yet, peeps
