OK, you may have seen my post on another board, but here is what I know so far. As I have said I used to work there during the Tease days so I have a little inside information. As for all the rumours of new management, lots of investment, new girls etc, I hate to break it to you but in the words of The Who, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss". Yes that is correct the building owner, the one who ran the place into the ground before Tease resurrected it is back in charge. I am not sure how that happened as I understand he can't hold the license. I suspect that was part of the delay as he needed someone to front it for him, but make no mistake, he is back in charge with a couple of cousins or nephews "running" the place on site.
As for the renovations, nothing really stands out if you know the building. He has cleaned/dusted the air ducts above the bar so at least you are not breathing in whatever may have been there. The raised area to the left as you enter in red is exactly the same as when Tease re-did it. The same banquettes, stripper pole etc. The bar has a limited booze selection. No jagger, Fireball, any of the cheap shooter drinks. No scotch. Limited bar rail. I was looking for a beer and the bartender told me the selection was very limited, which it was.
The men's room has been retiled but it still stinks. It will continue to do so as the septic tank (no lid on it) is behind an access panel in the stall in the men's room. How they get away with that I am not sure.
The VIP is moved but is no big improvement. Where the VIP was they have built a series of banquettes and tables in white Pleather. I couldn't check it out as both days I was there it was blocked off and you couldn't go there. I guess they are saving it for the "high rollers". LOL
All the furniture on the floor and around the stage is exactly the same stuff that was there during the Tease days. The floor has been redone in dark colours to not show the dust and dirt that gets tracked in but it appears to be household grade laminate planks and I am not sure how long that will last.
On a Thursday afternoon at 3 pm there was only one dancer. On a Saturday night there were a lot of the regular Tease girls (Chanel, Jewel, Sklya, Lady Class etc) plus a few others were there. Some of the new girls are not really an improvement IMHO.
I hope that this place can make a go of it, as I do like the venue and the dancers. However I am not sure how long before the owner's business practices (such as they are) start causing a decline in the place.
