I was a lot more optimistic about last season then I am of this season coming up.
No way will Jays contend for even a WC with this cast of guys

I remember that you had them down for a lot of wins last year when I made the poll.I was a lot more optimistic about last season then I am of this season coming up.

Between him and Tulo, 36 million...lol.Jays eat 16 million of his 20 million dollar salary. I guess out of sight out of mind is the approach.
Lots of teams have (or have had) dead money on their payroll.Between him and Tulo, 36 million...lol.
I'll just have you know that, as painful as that was, I watched the whole interview.
I am well aware of this.Lots of teams have (or have had) dead money on their payroll.
The Red Sox last year, ~$29Mm to players not on their roster, for just 1 example.
In 2017, the Dodgers had $47,373,809 in salaries going to players not members of the organization.
You forgot the word now at the end.I am well aware of this.
To be fair, we hadnt counted on the following:I remember that you had them down for a lot of wins last year when I made the poll
Yes. That you'll try to be more realistic this year.:rockon:5. Did I leave something out???!!
The city can buy the dome off of Rogers and turn it into a big homeless camp.I attended a wedding at the Ontario Place Pods, what a dilapidated mess that place is, downright seedy. I was having a cancer stick overlooking the inner lagoon and was told that this is where the new Jays stadium will be built.
The Douglas regime is balking at putting in money in renovating the place, possibly the foundation is rotted. There should be an announcement on a stadium later this year. It's too costly to build a drainage system at Roger's Pitt, it's only a matter of time before the roof stops working. The joint is starting to look it's age.
Now that he no longer has to play on turf, Tulo may have a good year.
Yeah I’m sure the natural grass will have him hitting much better than the .250 average he hit here. Now that he no longer has to play on turf, Tulo may have a good year.

The manager of a transport company that delivers groceries to the Roger's Center and the ACC. He said it would resemble Pirates Stadium with an open vista in the bleachers section angled to take in the Toronto skyline.God that would be amazing. Who "told" you this?
I like the idea of that, but it would be nice if the stadium had a retractable roof as weather can be challenging for the early and late parts of the season. I guess the challenge is that it is difficult to have natural grass in an indor stadium? The manager of a transport company that delivers groceries to the Roger's Center and the ACC. For years I said we should have a stadium like that. Similar to San Fran as well where you can hit the ball into the water. We would still need a retractable roof, but they're a lot nicer now. From the interview I saw, seems like every year they're going to make reno's to the rogers centre because they love the location. I really hope they realize this just needs to be done. The fucking thing is 30 years old now and totally outdated. The manager of a transport company that delivers groceries to the Roger's Center and the ACC.
