The best generation was actually the one before his that fought WWII. I’m a baby boomer too...I have far more faith in millennial s than my own generation.
Hmmm, just because they fought in WWII? I guess it depends on who you ask. I'm sure there are plenty who suffered at that generation's hands unjustly who may beg to differ.

Fought and then came home and oversaw the USA (And took Canada along in the ride) become the powerhouse it is.

...as well as hang people from trees, deny them rights, lynchings among other things? How angelic.
Sure beats Hitler taking over the world... those people wouldn't be hanging anywhere or have any rights. They'd be murdered out of existence.

Lazy. I knew that response was coming. Typical of the type that condones rape so long as the rapist feeds the hungry on the weekends, thus preventing them from starving to death. That rapist probably thinks rape is wrong...unless he is doing the raping, which probably sums up what happened during those days.

Regardless of your hypothetical situation, explain how it makes THAT generation the best ever? Oh by the way, my grandmother knew a couple murdered out of existence back then for just breathing and having a different skin colour. She herself escaped such a fate. Still alive and kicking at 92 years of age thankfully.

Like I said, depends on who you ask. One thing is for sure, I'd glad I didn't grow up in her era...the so called best generation ever. Counting my lucky stars actually. Give thanks for small mercies.

Public apology.

This is my last and final apology. I am sorry if anyone was offended by the "p" word I used in my previous posts. I did not intend to hurt anyones feelings. I guess each generation has a different way of looking at things and I was being sincere in my last three apologies for those who don't believe me. I am none of those things that anybody is labelling me to be and I sincerely hope everyone can put this behind them - as I have. Again I did not intend to offend anyone.

Police wrap up investigation at Bombay Bhel following restaurant blast.

Police are no longer at the scene of an explosion that rocked an Indian restaurant and left 15 people injured last week, but the search for two men suspected in the blast continues.

Peel Regional Police say investigators wrapped their work at the Bombay Bhel restaurant in Mississauga, Ont., on Sunday night, but management says the restaurant will be closed until further notice.

Police are still probing Thursday's incident, in which two suspects allegedly detonated an explosive device in the restaurant before fleeing the scene on foot and then jumping into an unidentified vehicle.

Fifteen of the approximately 40 people inside the restaurant were injured, but all have since been released from hospital.

The restaurant's website says the Mississauga establishment will remain closed until further notice, but its three other locations are open for business.

A statement posted on the restaurant's Facebook page on Saturday says that they have "been serving our customers for over 30 years and will do so for another 30 years in the great city of Mississauga."

Looks like the police have very little evidence to bring any charges. Wonder what is the real motive of these thugs??

The generation includes black people who fought and died. Black people who migrated North to help build the Industrial base. To Detroit. And brought us Motown.

They were the core of the civil rights movement. MLK was a part of that generation.

It included them my friend.

They grew up in the Great Depression. Answered the call to stop Fascism. Came home from the horrors of war and both rebuilt Europe, Modernized Japan, and turned the USA through the creation of manufacturing and innovation of products into a powerhouse.

Don't be dismissive.

Most bombings are done by Islamic guys. ...
Bullshit. There are far more bombings from organized crime. It happens regularly all around the world.

And are you willing to admit yet that the chances of this being Islamic terror is essentially zero?

Its ** I think ***. & no I did not . good try tho smallestcock !
You may have innocently meant "paki" simply as a short form of Pakistani but it sure as shit is a racial epithet.

Under modern "anti-oppression" views, intent is irrelevant (though can often be fixed by a true apology and discussion).

...
I was simply using a short term as NO ONE among my age group has a problem with me using it . ....
No one in your PEER group maybe.

Even among "brown" youth, it's like the N-word. They may use it to each other but you're looking for a fight if an outsider does.

p.s. I've been stunned in parts of the states where they refer to convenience stores as 'the P***'s'

Some sacrificed a lot to defeat Nazi Germany. Some were great people. Some were nasty shits. Some were all of the above.

It's ridiculous to make generalizations about an entire generation of people.

The whole topic of Muslims seems to be a red herring promoted by people wanting it to be terrorism.
I think it was organized crime. I think the restauranteurs or someone working there knows something, but can’t or won’t say.

I personally don’t think it’s terrorism. Some stupid group would already have taken credit for it.

Ditto. May be bad blood, an unpaid debt or someone pursuing a vendetta.

The Yanks refused to get into WW2 until they were attacked by Japan. Canada sacrificed blood from Day 1. And look at Europe now.... technologically advanced and economically successful without destroying the environment. Influential without threateneing to nuke everyone. The US is becoming a shithole with a degenerate lunatic for a leader

Think perhaps the Marshall plan, NATO, and the UN, all conceived and paid for pretty much by the USA have something to do with that?

Why are you keeping this going? I have apologized. LET IT GO !

Oh really?? Can you please provide us with stats that say organized crime bombings outnumber Islamic jihad bombings.

This should be interesting
