And Osuna didnt pitch the day before, so he should have been well rested.
Unless Osuna is carrying a slight injury we dont know about, this is another gigantic fuck up by Gibby :frusty:
EDIT: Gibby claimed after the game Osuna wasnt feeling well. But Osuna declined to talk to the media, so this smells like bullshit

I was truly excited when he was breaking in with the team. At this point I wouldn't take him for Drew Storen's unwashed jockstrap.
And Parmley looks like he has some real speed.
I don't see a conspiracy theory here. He must have simply been unavailable. He is Gibbons' only reliable guy for the 9th (last night was proof of that) and he goes to him every single time except when unavailable.
those of us who do not think Mr. Gibbons is a good manager have been silent for a while.........you sit your hottest hitter Smoak in a game you don't plan to use your best pitcher Osuna?......gawd I hope there is a true explanation for not using Osuna and that he is available today......that magical 81 wins for the season seeming more remote....

I don't know how to explain it. I'm just a little bit lost right now."
Osuna says he's never experienced this before.
Indeed. And took some courage for him to be so forthright. Not everyone understands the possible severities of mental health issues.
Blue Jays Twitter was a madhouse (pardon the pun) last night, alit with possible reasons, ranging from he was late for curfew night before, to showed up hungover, to he'd had a blowup with a teammate, and others.
I went through a period of anxiety myself, so I know what it feels like.
For me going on 6 months of Lorazepam did the trick.

T'was young Mr. Osuna (to clarify) who said it was a mental illness, not I.
I think thats a mistake a lot of people make. Your CNS runs from your spine up to your neck, and then into your brain.
So when you think something is all in your head, its actually your CNS inside your brain thats overreacting.

Diseases like Schizophrenia, Aspergers.....etc. Those are more mental illness

Right. But now picture having 20 panic attacks a day, for a whole week.
Then you'll understand anxiety.
Its treatable though. Osuna is young and I think he'll be OK (eventually)
