0-9 when trying to get to .500 is more than a baseball season being a marathon can explain...

It's a bad sign of what happens when the Jays are under a lot of pressure. Doesn't bode well for the stretch/post-season.

Doesn't mean anything at all accept they're having some loses at bad times. I promise you this team will get over the .500 mark at some point over the next 3 weeks. If Sanchez is back, my guess is not only will they make it over .500, but they stay there and will be like 3 games over.

To me, Donaldson's press interview and his not being in the lineup is just another indication of what I have been saying for a long time: there is much more dissension between the players and Gibby than anyone will admit.

Of course the players won't say anything. If they did, they could find it more difficult to find another team...

Time will tell...

Hard to tell as these things have a way of getting out to the press. If I was a Jay I would have lots to wonder about.

- No situational small ball. That would drive me crazy.

- Handling of Travis. They might have just finished his career. Second base is very hard on knees and he has a history of knee injuries yet they played him there full time

- Lack of creative out of box thinking on Gibbys part. Even something small like putting JB in lead off was players idea and they petitioned Gibby to do it.

Anyways, looks like Stro just pitched himself off all star game. Only legit Jay all star is Smoak. Crazy year.

Where else would you play him aside from 2b??

He has plenty of athletic ability. I don't think it would take very much for him to become an excellent left fielder.

And, if not, then don't play him at all... the BJ's don't owe him a job... he has to earn it!

Agree with you Perry, if there is a drawback to him playing a corner outfield it would be the turf. The turf may be one reason why his knees are so banged up.

There is a lot more lateral movement and quick, sharp, short stops and starts, etc. for a second baseman than an outfielder. That is what fucks up knees... which is not to say the turf does not take its toll.

Most likely he has had knee problems building up for a long time, even if he did not know it.

The Toronto Blue Jays outfield tonight is Parmley (RF) Pillar (CF) & Smith Jr. (LF).

Travis transferred to 60 day DL. Time to dump this guy, constantly hurt, no wonder the Tigers traded him to us.

Totally blew it. I'm expecting a 3-game sweep by the Royals.

Grilli is garbage. What happened to Gibbons only bringing him in for non-pressure situations?

You'd rather have Anthony Gose?
