Dear Terbites: Would you like to see a new Strip Bar Discussion added to Ottawa?

- Escorts
- MAs
- Other

"Other" would include strip clubs, sugar babies, fetish/swinger club stuff, etc.

This presupposes removing the current two forums, of course.

Yes this is excellent idea BUT why not call it for what it is like "strip clubs, sugar babies, fetish/swinger club ........" instead of "Others"?

Unfortunately I can't change the original question of the poll changing strip bar question to all of above you suggested.

And on second comment I am novice here what two forums? Why we have to remove anything just add one NEW one as simple as this. If it gets complicated then the admin won't do it no matter how many positive votes and comments because likely it would be a lot of work for them and they are super busy already as is.

Yes I agree completely there are no other boards but TERB (well except maybe MERB for to the city of "heaven on earth"). ....A lot of people in Ottawa are where it does not exist because we have no strip bar section here for Ottawa.

Even with SC/SA extra threads included in this Forum we barely get more than a page or two of threads per week in this forum. Splitting Forums usually is necassary when the volume of 1-2 side topic overshadows others. I see the point with high volume Forums why they divide it more. Don't really see the point here, threads that are followed and with. Active threads are easy to find (old reviews are harder but that's on the sheer volume of threads in general). Regardless it's not our call but if the Mods don't change I suspect that will be the main reason, which makes total sense IMO.

My single biggest request is not so much for different areas for the Ottawa section of terb. It would be to have an "Advanced Search" option for the Ottawa area alone.

TBH this is probably the fix for the real issue on finding specific info for OTT (or other sub forum groups).

Depends on the Forum platform. Sometimes it's just a simple click of admin settings. Other platforms it's not available. Hopefully it would be the former rather than the latter.

I voted no, why not just add more discussion threads to this section? I don't see there being as much interest in strip clubs as any of the other types of businesses to deserve its own section. Massage and escorts both go into the two sections we got right now.

Because it is escort and Massage reviews and strip bars and dancers are different in services and nature. They will be all all mix up and confusing to search. As proven already nobody will post when there is no section allocated for strip bars/dancers as we haven't had a related post in ages (except Taboo thread). Many who post on the other police state board don't post here on strip bars, why? Because we don't have a separate section. I won't make a single post myself unless we have a separate section for strip bars as I don't feel comfortable posting among escort reviews and most dancers may not allow posting their reviews on an exclusive escort review board either (yes I ask for their permission to post and tell them it is a strip bar review section)

Toronto has its own strip bar section so is Ottawa any less? And yes there will be lots of posts and interests if we have a separate strip bar section as I expect many of those who post on the other censored board will post here which as someone said is a liberal board or will join here (to read my posts ) in order to benefit from the strip bar posts. It really bugs me to see so many staying on the other one in spite of hating it and its dictatorial discriminatory policies and stay there because there is no alternative here when it comes to strip bars.

The reason that the Ottawa section on strip bars on this board is so DEAD (as it is evident, even though it is a much larger forum) is because exactly that we don't have a separate section for it. If you wish to KEEP this part of the industry DEAD on this forum then oppose to the new strip bar section.

Give it a chance, (the benefits of the doubt so to speak) for a while and don't kill it in the womb and then if it didn't work after a reasonable trial period then remove it but I am confident it will work and everyone will be happy in 6 months that we added this section.

Yes because the distinction between strip bars and escort review or massage is very clear like crystal, People who wish to talk about their experience in a strip bar will not post in an escort section by mistake and vice versa but the line between escorts & massage review and escort & massage 411 is very blur so I don't blame people mixing up the two this will NOT happen with a new strip bar section. One has to be real dumb to mixed up seeing a dancer in a public strip bar or have a contact dance with a dancer with seeing an escort in a private hotel room where he is having sex with.

LOLZ dude I did think before voting, I thought ... I don't go to SCs so I don't care either way. POW! Vote casted. It wasn't a thinking issue it was the fact I didn't know mods would actually consider changing things. I would much rather the proposed SP/MA/Other or call it whatevs. That would be the best format IMO.

And You posted your poll ( A Question ... meaning asking for 411 aka Information) in the review sections lmao, you didn't even post your thread in the correct sub-forum (50-50, 1 out of 2) so your guarantee and logic that it won't happen with 3 sub forums doesn't leave me feeling warm and fuzzy lol.

In my experience, when ever I have used the "advanced search" I first have to filter through all the TO threads. I feel that this could be why some start new threads about someone or something because trying to find an already existing one using "advanced search" is just as long of a process than going page by page through the separate sections to find if one already exists. Even to look for a review of someone they are interested in, or knowing any info about one for that matter, it seems to be quicker searching page by page. Just my opinion...

Noooooo lol who said that lol. That just helps narrow your search down to Ottawa it doesn't really help with sorting thread for "MA" from "SPs" and Others and on top sorting out "Reviews" from "Questions" or Just "General Comments". That is the issue again IMO. I thought most people knew about the advanced search but I don't always like using it because if the girl is from out of town I want to see the review in that city as well if they are available. May or may not be the case but I am still interested in seeing.

If Members used proper tags when posting new threads we could have the metadata to do great searches but that isn't always the case and I find it is rarely used.

And I will bring up the point of how they do things in the TO section they get very specific from MA/SP Indie to Agency IN and out. I don't know if it is just me but I really like that format. I'm not saying we need to go that crazy but I really don't think the current Review / 411 format is the best way to go.

The search was one of many reasons stated in this thread. The main reasons for having a new strip bar section was explained in many other posts (i.e. post #44) on pages 1 and 2 by myself and others) but you seems to pick one and reach a suggestive conclusion that the section is no longer needed!!!!!!!.

Lets hope that members wish on this forum will be respected and seriously taken into account by the forum admin we maintain this board the liberal and friendly forum that it is and so far the YES outnumbers the NO by 11 votes or almost 20%. I do recognize that the new section would add a bit to moderator(s) workload and would not generate much of revenue (likely none) but it would add greatly to the Ottawa parts of this forum. For details please read the posts explaining why. Please don't pick and choose posts. Many thanks,
