Sheer and utter brilliance by Fed. He did not allow Rafa to play his long rallies or develop a rhythm, choosing instead to go for winners even if he often did not pull them off. Only in the 5th when he was not at risk of running out of energy, did he engage in long rallies, and here he out did Nadal at his own game. He threw so many tactic at Nadal, the odd drop shot that I don't think won a single point, yet kept Nadal guessing. Serve and volley. (pretty successful but not overused) and found his best serve when he needed it most. When both were playing their best, Fed was the better player. He found his best game long enough to get it done. It was a fantastic match. The best for quite a while. Its really special when those two play in a Slam Final. This lived up to every possible hype.
