A smaller percentage want them lowered? Um 41% want less. That means lower. Only 11% want more.
And 47% are good the way it is. That says to me that 88% of Canadians DO NOT want the numbers increased. You don't count the 47% who said they are good with the way it is as somehow wanting more. They clearly stated no more.
Pretty simple math. 88% say no increase in numbers.
41% is indeed a smaller percentage than the 47% who are content with the numbers,
which is what I said.
Since almost half of the 88% you lumped together actually want fewer refugees, it's quite misleading say they merely don't want the numbers to grow, although perhapsnot inaccurate technically. But if I was one of that anti-refugee 41%, I'd say you deliberately misrepresented my views.
If you wanted to state the results as: Only 11% want more refugees, while 41% want fewer, I'd have no problem. But I'd suspect you were hiding that 47% who said they are happy with the
status quo, and who outnumber both flavours of those who want change.
Not everything in life is Yea or Nay, for all that kind of dualism appeals to simple minds trying to decide complex issues.
