If they put a fake profile up and they made it clear that they were minor and you continued to engage in conversation of a sexual nature, with the intention to meet - well you will probably have issues.
If they didn't do any of that, then you haven't done anything that is illegal, and can stop worrying
It is unlikely that it is a trap. She might be busy
(and unless you book, most providers will only provide the general vicinity of their location. Not their address)

I always say call the girls or ladies, They take text, but most want you to call them in the end anyway, so why not call from the start. Then nothing is on your phone. And I don't believe for a minute that cops are going to go to the trouble of tapping everyone's calls. They need a court order to listen. But if for some reason you go and it is a trap, Then you have it all on your phone, prices, asking BBBJ etc etc. That is intent to buy sex.

From a practical point of view, for the police to come after you, they not only need clear evidence that you were offering money (the consideration) and that it was for a sexual service, but they also need to hunt you down and establish no one else could have been using that phone to send that message.
Given the paperwork involved and the tactical need to send two cops and a car to get you, that seems way more expensive than us taxpayers would be willing to pay just to stop a telephone pooner making an incall appointment.
But if they'd already busted that incall because the neighbours repeatedly complained about rowdy customers ….

I know that BP is a popular destination for members of the "poverty club" but my opinion is that even if it means your don't hobby as often, save your money and pay a bit more for a reputable agency girl or indy.
By communicating for the purpose of obtaining for consideration her sexual services (she doesn't have to be under 18), you would be committing an indictable offence. You don't have to meet and or exchange money.
However, it's a question of fact if your communication was for the purpose of buying sex. You could've just been curious and asking how much, which would seem not to cross the point of no return.
I'm not sure if asking how much a BJ costs would be enough because you could be kicking tires. The statute requires 'purpose' which to mean means actual or real intent to buy sex.
I also echo oldjones excellent point about practicality with regards to actual law enforcement on this type of situation.
GoWest in another handle made a valid point that you may be getting GFE when you want PSE, or GFE but no LFK or DFK, which could mean you might get less than what you're expecting if you don't communicate about specifics.
Best thing is to approach ladies with a reputable history. Better yet if they have a website with some mention of services. You don't have to discuss same and avoid the issue of communicating for the purpose of buying sex.
Sorry, it never has been in Ontario for a long time. You need the provincial government to enforce it and that was always missing in Ontario. I find it very tiresome your fearmongering.
