If you go to Five Guys you can extra bacon and cheese free of charge.I like Five Guys, but lately it's been hit or miss. Seems like quality differs from location. Burger's Priest is good, if not pricey. Holy Chuck is also good.
Of course, if you got a barbecue, nothing beats homemade.
looks like mozzarella and avocado in there, interesting combination.
From the list P&L is pretty good - deliver on foodora too. I was never impressed by the Priest.
Makes sense to me! Thank lomotil. The Burger Priest founder Shant Mardirosian studied be a priest at one point, so religious scripture is displayed at some locations. David won, maybe it symbolizes Burger Priest's success against the big chains. At this point Burger Priest can open right beside a McDonald or Burger King which are giants without fear due to the unique deliciousness of their burgers. The Yonge location north of Lawrence has scripture with three Jewish men being caste in the furnace by King Nebuchadnezzar and surviving as does Burger Priest which is thriving.
Cool diy moves! So can you host the next Terb bbq
Steer in was okay at best, but the guys that worked there always weirded me out, and gold star is disgusting.I used to love Steer Inn in Richmond Hill, but hey are closed now. Golden Star in Thornhill is pretty good!!
How did I know it was only a matter of time before someone was going to make this dumb ass comment???The best burgers you can have you have to make at home. I have been using the Sous Vide method of cooking for the last year and have made the best burgers with perfect searing or charcoal grilling.
I tried Johnny's once and just was not impressed. Average t best. If you like the Priest, you might want to try the place across the street from the Yonge & Lawrence location. It's called McCoy's, and I've enjoyed them a few times. It not likely that everyone will rush to say it's the best place in town, but you should enjoy it. They had an opening special @ $5.00 to bring people in, and it was great value...
I never understood the attraction to the old Steer Burger. I went there once as I knew it had a decades old reputation for it's fan base. Unfortunately, I felt like I had just eaten a pound of tasteless cardboard and my gut felt like a lead weight. It made Johnny's look like gourmet food! I never went back to either one...I used to love Steer Inn in Richmond Hill, but hey are closed now. Golden Star in Thornhill is pretty good!!
A family of angry, surly Greek brothers serving up burgers...what's not to love.Steer in was okay at best, but the guys that worked there always weirded me out, and gold star is disgusting.
What? Tasteless? What did you have?I never understood the attraction to the old Steer Burger. I went there once as I knew it had a decades old reputation for it's fan base. The place is open very late when others are closed and most people are asleep. They have a long time niche market .was just talking about this with a friend last night, Johnnys has a lineup every night for 30 years and their burgers are average at best....for some reason people love this place...these guys rake in the cash
